Xin Zhao is one of the best junglers ever! If you use him wisely he will be a great threat to the opposing team. I prefer to play Xin Zhao in a lane, however most people do prefer him in the jungle. This is a basic build and there are better Mastery trees out there, but this one is great for people just starting to play the game!

Pros:

Excellent at ganking
Excels at farming with his q and w
He is one of the best early game champions in the game
He can be a game changer if you always take out their squishies

Cons

He is pretty bad at late game
If you do not farm, you can't finish your build which leads you to your death
He is targeted very often for a gank
It takes getting used to use him properly

You need all the attack damage that you can get. However, you need a hell load of attack speed in order for your passive to heal you faster than you are getting hit.

Why get Boots first? He is one of the best early game champions so you don't want to recall that often. Berserker's Greaves are the best boots for Xin Zhao because it gives him free attack speed bonus. I also take 3 health pots because if you are against two people in a lane who are ranged, its going to be hard to get your passive to heal you if you are constantly getting harassed. I then take Ionic Spark which gives you 50% attack speed and gives you some extra health plus its passive is great because it deals 110 magic to upto 4 targets, so it helps especially when trying to farm. I then take Madred's Bloodrazor for some more attack speed and the passive is great! I then grab Zeke's Herald and then a Phantom Dancer for even more attack speed. Then my last item is the Nashor's Tooth which finishes my attack speed to about 3, which will make getting healed from your passive great.

I would get Flash to try to get out of tough situtaions because Xin Zhao HAS NO ESCAPE spells. You can also take Ghost after the Flash nerf, but I still like Flash better. For my second spell i take ignite to get rid of the extra health that the enemy runs away with.

Xin Zhao is awesome, but always remember to farm and to finish your build.
