I'm thinking of buying Rakan is it worth it?

Hi, it is pretty worth if you are planning to play support for your main role.

Rakan indeed a must for support players who's trying to soloQ in my opinion, something like how Yasuo and such is needed in certain roles, when all of your team is ready for last golden finishing champion, you have to slam your card, Rakan, when you can catch a good synergy with your team, it can be most aggressive support with a proper team or maybe most defensive support that is related to your team's composition, so expanded champion pool is a requirement IMO, nowadays supports are on spotlight, Lulu Janna Karma one of them almost get banned every match 99% so you shall always have another card to play, which Rakan getting even stronger with Xayah as his aa's getting on hit damage and expanded range with Xayah's buffs.

But to be honest, these are just ideas, I don't know depth details about Rakan's actual in-game performance, since I gave a little break to LOL and yet didn't master him to Lvl 7, yet he is nerfed again, but having ability to dash through walls for TOTAL 3-4 times, mobility is in meta nearly years, and it can't be reduced to lower levels by cheap nerfs probably, it won't stop you from taking Rakan when a Xayah appears, isn't it?

Well I am a mid main but my friend and I have been playing Rakan and Xayah recently. We both do really well on these champions. Should I buy Rakan just because of Xayah or if I invest my time will it be worth it? I won't be planning on maining support I think but he seems like a good pick up you know what I mean?

Oh I see, but does that mean Rakan is your best bet for lane, since having it shall save your time on support role, if your champ pool is not generous on supports, having a main and reliable choice for bot lane is a good choice,
however, if you already have your support companion (pika pika) like and not a fan of sup, having this only for your pre-made, it would be a rare situation that both of you would come together to instantly pick these couple to destroy bot lane, in the meaning of IP economy, having your priorities must come first to avoid being regretful, mostly, isn't so?

For me, you may skip Rakan this time and continue good-old style and be loyal to your current companion, since his role as a support is not easy as some supports, and may be a bit complex for those who does not main support, however it's only an opinion, at least, do whatever you wish.

TL;DR if you are short on both sources and choices for sup and in need of a main for bot lane, go with it if not do not waste your IP for now and you may return later.

First of all I'm glad and pleased to see a Turkish player sharing his experinces since I'am Turkish too, I've bought Rakan in the same day he was released, and must say if I play support I play no other champ but him, very agile, can shield, heal, and has some decend CC as well. But the build I use is, : Eye of the Oasis, Ardent Censer, Righteous Glory, Redemption, Knight's Vow and Mercry's Treads. I'm not completely sure if it's the best build but it does manage, I can main Rakan since I like the way this champ works, if you'd like to add me from the game I can watch your Rakan matches in case I might learn a few things.

I just picked up Rakan the other day. I have been finding its fun, if the lane is winning, to pick up a Dark Seal and a Sunfire Cape. Deal some good damage and gives some sustain.
