Rammus is a tricky champion. It's a tank with not that much health. He doesn't do really big damage, and he doesn't have a ranged ability.
This build is a support rammus, and it works really good for me. I know the standard rammus builds are very different, but give this one a chance and you'll notice it works really well.
- Early game.
Buy the bead, 2 health and 2 mana potions. With these items and Rammus high armor runes, you should be able to keep attacking. Stand on the verge of death and come back 5 seconds later with full health and full mana so you can bully the enemy.
Taunt owns, but use it smart. Don't use it to start a fight, but use it to save friendlies and draw them into the tower.
Powerball on the other hand should be spammed to death. Just watch the enemy flee when they see the ball of death, and take the xp and gold they left behind.
You should have gotten wardens mail and boots of swiftness by now, and maybe one or two kills. I know most rammus players rage against boots of swiftness, but the reason it works in this build will be shown later.
The principal you should be using now is "First one in, first one out." Switch lanes quickly with help of the boots of swiftness and powerball, and you should be able to get from one lane to the other in one roll. Charge in to the enemy, taunt the enemy carry, go in to ball curl, and watch wardens mail work its magic.
By then the other lane members should have charged, and you can get away safe with 1/3 health, while the enemies are slowed and allmost dead.
Rins and repeat.
P.S. Don't forget to farm creep waves inbetween and you should give your original lane partner the support it needs to.
Now you are one hell of a tarpit. A huge load of armor, and if the enemy attacks you, they will get massive damage return and up to 70% attackspeed reducement. And if you're allmost killed, you'll be back in no time thanks to huge health regen.
So basically the enemy only wants to attack you if you're the only member left..... But they can't! They really can't ignore you if you charge into the enemy and use tremors in the middle of their team. And when they attack you, the attack speeds will be massively lowered, and they will be damaged by their own attacks! Backed up by your team, the enemy should be aced very quickly and you will get away with 1/3 of your health thanks to massive armor and ball curl. And then say hello to force of nature.
Things to look out for:
-Overconfidence: YOU NEED YOUR TEAM! Without it, you're useless against allmost everybody. If you see two enemies when you're alone, RUN! For the love of god don't rambo.
-Cages and stuns before you've used all your abilities (RYZE!): You practically invulnerable after you've used your abilities, but without them you're just a bug.
