I didn't know that thornmail didn't stack! thx and I'll try out the cooldown reduction and post back.

Thornnail's effect is Unique -> doesn't stack so taking 3rd sunfire's cape or Guardian Angel instead of 2nd Thornnail could be nice.
You don't have any magic resist-items in the start so some magic resist runes could help you. And in my opinion Cooldown reduction is more useful than hp on Glyphs
