Whoa there. If you're going to have an 8-1 split on runes, you're going to have to justify it. (That was a good point about armor marks, by the way.)

I did the math. Armor seals are better than HP seals when you consider the life you regain while farming. Armor applies to life you regenerate over time, and machete gives a lot of HP regen, not to mention the two health pots you start with. Bonus HP helps only when your lifepool is filled. A Rammus who farms until he's level 3 and then ganks will have more HP if he takes armor seals instead of HP seals (as well as a slightly faster clear). A Rammus who fights immediately after recalling (or a level 1 invade) will have more HP if he takes HP seals.

Of course, magic damage isn't affected by armor. If you expect someone is going to deal nearly your entire lifepool in magic damage before level 6, consider taking HP seals.

If you're not going attsp marks on rammus you should look for armor marks. Like, seriously. Heal marks suck (less than 50% of the primary ones), while armor marks are at 91% of the primary ones (0.91 armor vs 1 from seals). Since the nerf to armor seals Riot forgot to nerf the other armor runes, so they are actually quite decent now.

By running 9 armor marks, 1 armor seal and 8 health seals you get the same armor (actually +0.2) and significantly more health. Not to mention armor marks are 205 IP (cheap as ****).

Personally I like attsp marks to scale off of the passive (sweet starting ad) and even armor glyphs (70% of primary, pretty good) so I get to lvl 3 and gank with HP.

thanks for the helpful information, and not that I think about that combination, it really does make sense. Thank you. hopefully I will update over the weekend. I am super busy this week. I could barely make time for this post. Thanks again for your contribution. :)
