I'd say Mercury's Treads are better.

Besides that, it is a nice build.

Mmh sorry for answering like 7 months too late but I thought that no one would use this outdated guide anymore. Well it's okay guide still if you just replace that second Sunfire with Aegis.

Your point is pretty close to the truth but remember that Mercury Treads are very expensive and usually no one cares about how awful some synergy might be. Like when taking both Thornnail and Rainduin's Omen. Ninja Tabi isn't perfect but when compared to other boots; shall i take Boots of Shiftness for tank? O_o it's fine. Tldr: it's reducing some of the point of his Defensive Ball Curl but it's still nice pick. On these days Mercury Treads is great thought -> cause of CC-meta but in a over 13 months old guide Ninja Tabi is clearly the best choice.

I love your video ;P Too Bad that it loads so long :D But full of some awesome stuff. Keep on going. Do you play some other champs also or are you just Rammus-player. There isn't too much awesome LoL-videos.

After this http://www.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=391819 everything has changed. Now I'll prefere buying Banshee's Veil, Guardian Angel, Aegis of Legion or Rainduin's Omen instead of 2nd Sunfire's Cape. The main idea still remains same but now you have just 5 certain items and 2 items are your match-picks depending the enemy.

well... With 3 sunfire's -> your defense is extremely weak against strong casters like Ryze, Anivia etc. With 2 sunfire's you have enough defense to stay alive until battle is over and you deal also nice sum of damage with good +- ratio. Still its pretty hard to manage in early game before getting FoN/BV but you have to manage with that. 1 sunfire would make your hp too low and damage output is a way too weak.

don't like only 2 sunfires, i think 3 is much better.

Hey Divic, thank you for this great guide I think Im going to use this build over my last. I have some questions for ya and was wondering if I could see your Rammus In action. In on the US-Server and My account name is JustAlfo.

mmh... i thought i was writing that into guide but looks like i didn't write it. 7th item is Banshee's Veil in about 3/4 of all situations. Other option is 3rd Sunfire's Cape but usually enemy has pretty much disables and magic so Banshee's Veil is great option.

About those Quintessenses: This build is working so well on my playing style that i don't actually need any more hp or armor, magic resist could help in start game but you can play without it. So I don't need any of those Quintessences, but movement speed is always useful. What faster you are, that more you can help your team. You have enough hp and armor etc. you don't need anything. So its free to select quintessences you like most.

CdR, Magic Penetration, hp, Movement speed and magic resist are best quins for Rammus in my opinion

Great work! Like the previous comments though, I, too, disagree with your Quins. With ghost and Powerball, you shouldn't really worry about more speed. xP

What do you suggest to buy after you got all 6 items? If a game carries on long enough, I'd probably sell Doran's shield for an endgame item. What do you think it should be?

aaw. And again some noob has downvoted without comments. If you think that this doesn't work -> then you can take me some sort of contact and I'll show you that this works. I have 30 level-accounts on both US- and Europe-server so that isn't a problem. So.. if you think that this doesn't work -> let's take a game -> you know that this works after that game. I don't play Rammus a lot cause its boring to be godlike always. :D But if you wanna test my skills -> just send me a message.

Thundra on EU, that's my active account
divic on US, but i haven't played there in past 3 weeks.

i think the dodge mastery with nimbleness do the job perfectly so you dont need much more mov speed.
