Seems like a nice guide but i think u should add one more guy who u play against on mid.Fizz...He is rly annoying and i want to know how is Ryze holding against him.If u do so i will be very thankfull i will also try out your build.

My first games I tested it.. I had pretty bad luck, first a Cassio, and now i had a LeBlanc.
Thanks to your Guide, and a pretty good jungler, I won both lanes and both games, even though the mid laners had atleast twice as much wins as i have.

Nice guide, very in-depth and has nice explanations. I like how you have counters for enemy champions included as well! I will definitely +1 the guide, but I have a suggestion:

I think your Catalyst the Protector should be built into a Rod of Ages. Otherwise, it just seems like a waste getting it, when you could build into a nice tankier but still AP strong item.

Aside from that, great guide, I enjoyed it! +1 from me!

Thanks to your guide i bought the anti-cc-stuff and pushed her to hell.
She played quite good and ended up with 10/4/1 (because i couldn't protect my whole team ^^) but whenever i was around, she just ran scared and we won the game

You should add AP Yi as a counter to Ryze. You can't stop him from alphaing and meditating all day long. I mean, he can just meditate while you do your combo and you are screwed.

Have you read the changes to Ryze? Overall, it looks like a early game buff, and late game nerf. His AP ratios on his Q are going up too, will this make getting Archangel's Staff earlier more viable and make Rylai's a more popular buy on Ryze? I'm kinda curious on how this will change him.

I've tried quite a few Ryze guides and builds and this is by FAR the best guide and build. This is the build that works all throughout the game and has enough versatility to meet most opposing teams. Granted, you cannot win every fight, but this will at least get you darn close. End game, you WILL be the most feared AP on the field. Nothing beats a mana-high Ryze with maxed CD and spell-vamp. (except for maybe a well fed Dr. Mundo) Loved the guide.

I like this, I'm not sold on the vamp quints but I'm not against them either.
