Introduction

As we all know Renekton is always a force to be reckoned with. I want to bring that to the next step with this build. The idea is to mix AD elements with tankiness, as both these attributes synchronize very well with his abilities. The items are meant to develop during the game, ensuring a good mid/late game. The runes, with the help of the items/masteries, ensure a early game in which you will dominate completely.

Pros: Extremly strong early game
Good damage output
decent resilience
excellent escape
Excellent Chaser

Cons: Early game success-dependent
Expensive dental care
Short Range
Not sufficiently hardy, needs tanky team

Runes

Marks - Flat AD gives you an edge in the early game, which is critical to your success.
Glyphs / Seals - The flat armor/magic resistance gives you a good amount of early game survivability, making your path to dominance even simpler.
Quints - Flat health. Never a bad idea. (you can exchange this for AD if u like

Masteries

21/9/0

Offense: increased damage, health, attack speed and more.

Defense: Magic Resistance, Armor, Health

Items

Dorans Shield: Gives You excellent survivability, in form of armor, health, and hp regen.

If you are goin Duo-lane, you can switch this for Dorans Blade if you want more offensive power

Ionan Boots of lucidity: Since renekton has fury instead of mana his only limitation is his cooldowns. This removes a bit of those pesky limitations.

Bilgewater Cutlass: I believe this to be an excellent item in overall, especially with renekton. The damage and lifesteal are great of course, and the item-active slow just makes it better, ensuring that nobody beats you and few escape you. We build it into gunblade later.

Now it's time for madreds! This item will make you completely OP. The damage, armor and attack speed are excellent, but lets not forget the 4% of enemies max hp. This works with Ruthless Predator, meaning that you will do (8% without fury, 12% with fury) extra of your enemies health, meaning that you will Butcher them completely!

Trinity force, frozen mallet and hextech are next, take them in any prefered order, although i usually go Tri-Fro-Hex

Trinity force is next, giving you plenty of usefull bonuses

Skills

Q - Cull The Meek

When this spell is activated you spin around slashing around you dealing damage.
This also heals you based on how many people you slash and how much damage you do.
Also builds up Fury, based on how many targets hit (5-25 fury gain).
With 50+ fury all damage and heal is increased.

This skill is great for farming and healing after a fight. May also be used while chasing as it doesnt make you stop.

W - Ruthless Predator
Stuns and Deals damage on your next hit on a single target after activation. Applies on hit effect as the slow from frozen mallet (I am unsure whether lifesteal also works).
50+ fury: more stun and more damage
Madreds: Percent of enemies hp taken (8%/12% depending on fury)

Excellent for use on to gank/chase/damage/stun/interupt/piss somebody off.
Often most effective when Slice and/or Dice is used to close in on the target.

E - Slice and Dice
This makes you dash a short distance in a direction of your choosing, dealing damage to al in your path. If you damage anyone with this ability you unlock the second part of it, Dice which basically does the same thing.
However if u have 50+ fury then dice will reduce the armor of all hit targets.

This is great for manuvering across obstacles, through enemies, away/towards enemy champions and towers. Excellent for closing in on ranged champions

R - Dominus
Your ultimate. When activated you gain health and deals damage to all enemies around you each second. Also it continuously gives you fury (5 per second).
Lasts for 15 Seconds.

This spell is excellent for teamfights, surviving narrow escapes and ensuring kills. While activated you become extremely powerfull, and there are very few champion who can stand against you (Renekton brother, nasus, with his ulti, is one of them).

Summoner Spells

Listed in order of reccomendation

Flash - great for all situations, couples well with slice n dice.

Exhaust - excellent for ensuring kills early on

Heal - although some may sneer at usage of this spell, it is very good early game, and it will make you unkillable. Also got buffed recently.

Ignite - Excellent for enemies who against all odds escape you. Great for early kills

Surge - more attack speed and AP, but listed it way down since renektons abilities dont stack with AS or AP (not counting the tiny effect on ulti)

Teleport - Great for backdooring and helping allies. not my favorite, but if u want it u want it

Clairvoyance - Hahaha, youre a crocodile, you dont need to see stuff!

Cleanse - removes disables and whatnot. Can be good, if You find yourself in draftpick with enemies such as: Sion, Taric, Warwick, Malzahar. Usually getting a QSS works just as well

the Rest are manure for renekton

Farming

Due to renektons Fury system, farming is very simple; just spam Cull the Meek (Q) and mix it with last hitting. One tactic you should try to use is to use CtM on minions to get 50+ fury (it generates 5 for every enemy hit, max 25) then Slice up to an enemy champion, hit him with Ruthless Predator, then dice back.

Place in team

If you are still reading then Good job, almost done now! Renektons place in the team is not to initiate, but he should be the one to rush headlong into battle when it is started, dealing damage to the entire team while using Ruthless Predator to Interuppt and kill the more squishy targets. He can do any lane, although i reccomend solotop, but who asked me

Jungling

Jungling with Renekton is quite easy, same skill except for beginning (Q-W-Q-E should be your start when jungling). You can start red for early ganks, blue for easier jungling, golems for better ganking lvl 4.

Start with Cloth Armor and HP-potions, switch cutlass for wriggles, then continue with your buisness as usual, but in the jungle! (use flash. obviously. xD)
