hardly have time to edit stuff
@vaga: i'll fix that asap
@ominous mao:
Yea the masteries are outdated :/
I'm not sure how jungling is done in s4 (cn hasn't patched yet), but in season 3 the general route was bottom buff --> top buff --> gank
It's awesome, and I love using it to refer to while I'm learning Riven.
Thing is, the masteries for the jungling part need to be updated, and I was hoping you'd go into a little more depth in jungling if that wasn't too much to ask. ><
I like Riven a lot and would like to start jungling Riven, and out of all the guilds I'm pretty sure I trust your opinion the most.
"Just like any other ranged champion, if you are able to gapclose without using too much spells, you can deal a great amount of damage. Just like any other ranged champion, if you are able to gapclose without using too much spells, you can deal a great amount of damage."
@Ichi: Normally a good build is brut --> BT --> Hydra atm (BRNA runs this)
A friend of mine plays alot of Riven and when I asked for tipps, he said never buy a hydra.
In your Item section you talk about a 2nd BT, I tried to CTRL+F Hydra and only found the 2 in the cheat sheet
Love the guide, by the way. The roman numerals are oh-so stylish.
Also does your jungling section need updating? Or is it still good to start Wraiths/Wolves?
Maybe try upload them from imgur?
Thanks!
I'm really against Frozen Mallet haha I really hate the item
Maxing Q has always been superior to W since the nerfs to Riven. This is because Riven's playstyle opts for unmatchable all-in which enemies need to take care for. If you max W you can harass easily but most enemies can easily all-in you after that and win. Duels will never extend for long periods of time enough for you to use W twice. Before W max was good because you could both easily all-in and have a strong burst as well. Ever since nerfs you couldn't do that anymore.
That aside, what do you think about going Ionian boots and later grabbing Spirit of the Ancient Golem for tenacity? These 2 items + Brutalizer + masteries end up granting 38% CDR.
