Hextech is more of a core item, since she scales with ad now, and max e second. The W dosent scale well at all as it only gives you more movement speed. The skill max shld be= q-e-w since the faster e reset is essental when going against opponents like yasuo who rely on aa, giving them no time to aa you as you shunpo away. Any feedback would be appreciated

Hextech is a really good item if you rush it. Other than that it shouldn't be built after 25 mins or so because it scales off. In the end, Kat's passive scales better than AD at like lvl 16? I'm not sure but don't forget the 100% scaling only comes from 'bonus' AD. AD honestly is a very useless stat on Kat apart from using it for shunpo or aa's. AD is a great stat for early game during the laning phase but it scales of late game because you would never aa someone that much or you'll get killed for sure. Most of your damage is magic anyways. The issue is, the lategame scaling is just too good so building AP is the way to go. I mean you can go AD but only at the very start otherwise is is unefficient. Yes, you always now max e second, Ijust didn't update my guide enough! I hope this helped and thanks for giving advice! :D BTW, I love gunblade but I just keep forgetting to buy it.

Why shouldn't people downvote your guide if they don't like it? That's the sole purpose of the voting system. Instead, use it as an effective way to judge how good the perception of your guide is.

Hey toxic just found your guide recently and noticed you didnt talk much about instances in which you would use the other 2 builds (tankier and ad). Im hoping you could clarify that for me. Thanks :)

Hi, I will be expanding on them but atm you would usually only go Kat tank is you are going support/mid/top and if the team needs a tank and you love Kat. You will also go Kat tank is you think your team already has too much cc but just not enough tanks! Usually I would only got tank Kat for normals but if you must, then have fun in ranked! BTW - you can also go thunderlord's.

For AD kat, it's purely for fun. I wrote a little here explaining some stuff about AD kat: http://www.mobafire.com/league-of-legends/build/6-14-in-depth-you-ready-for-trouble-ap-tank-amp-ad-448073#introduction and it shouldn't be taken seriously. These two builds are meant to be for fun and so...HAVE FUN! :D Usually you would go AD kat only if they enemy you are vsing has a super weak laning phase like Akali.

Thanks for the quick reply Toxic :) I would love it if you could go in more detail with the builds, but thank you for the quick rundown. I think it'd also be good if you added a matchups section. And maybe like a general gameplan for games if that makes sense.

This is probably a nooby question but what if the other team was building magic penatration. Would you still buy the sorcerer boots?

Mmm if the other team buys magic penetration it wouldn't affect you would it? I mean Kat & Zed etc. are one the only squishies where her magic resist levels increase per level. This makes Kat much more stronger and tanky so if they build magic penetration it will make you much more squishy. For early game, sorceror shoes is a must but late, you can sell it for a hextech gunblade, guardians angel, rylais, ludens or what not! Shoes are usually sold anyways when you have enough money for the specific item. This way, it will be harder for you to die.
