Okayy welcome to my personal favorite guide to riven as a solo top I've been playing riven for a while and this seems to be the only build I find that works I've tried many many different builds for riven but I've found this set up with runes and masteries would help riven early game cause early game she's really squishy as well as give you a very good damage out put that riven naturally has rivens a very very mobile fight which makes it great for getting away from ganks as well as cleaning up team fights with her ult or even starting team fights she's pretty tanky so lets get started

so about them runes

For runnes! okay runes are like perfect I've never been zoo proud of myself these runes help you dominate top right at the get go i play a very aggressive riven and thats the was i think she should be played for the fact that riven is extremly mobile and bail from ganks okay for reds i get armor pen reds grab 9 of those yellows armor so you can take damage blues flat heal glyphs again so you can take damage and for quints again armor pen so you can deal a great amount of damage with just boots hahaha pretty simple yet gets the job done very well

masteries

So with riven i go 21 in attack going with as much attack damage i can get in there life steal as much as i can get like I've said before very high damage output and still able to take damage. and 9 in defensive get that little bit of extra health per level 30 health in the beginning and armor and 1 in magic resist/color]

items

Items league has so many items some people are like idk anything blah blah blah what to buy what to buy okay I'm pretty sure your not a brain dead monkey its simple just ****in read what everything does this item build i have is meant to deal an large amount of damage as well as take hits from ability power magic caster mage champs and ad bruisers fighters and all the rest the items are up there i don't really have much to explain just do it ^^^^^^^

pro and cons

PROs
okay pros a lot of damage able to take alot of hits as well as live to tell the tale that shield her E helps a lot do not for get to use that broken wings heavy hitter as well as mobility dash mobility and then with ghost no one would be able to catch you riven very strong ganker she has a stun she can catch up to them very easily

CONs
if your not aggressive early game you won't get fed you won't be able to build anything you'll be squishy and suck if she doesn't keep on her last hits and poking you'll be useless and die a lot , riven is also no very good against ap ranged solo tops although she is good against kennel but for the life of me can't destroy swain and if you see yourself against a malphite
who just builds armor just make sure you don't try and kill him he just builds armor try banking for mid or bot and thats how you'll get fed

if your gonna jungle riven

okay if your gonna jungle riven you start at red unfortunately riven needs a really hard leash cause she just can't do it alone until like level 3 but by level 3 you should already by ganking and also start out with cloth armor and 5 health potions not a ******ed vampiric septar thats just ********

try it out and have fun

your not gonna master it right away but practice makes perfect riven isn't really hard to get the hang of but still takes time know your limits and you'll be good also do everyone a favor and when you first stat playing try bots before a real game cause i hate when people call top and suck ruins the whole game anyways have fun
