Who the Hell is Riven?
Mobile and quick
She can carry like ****
Heavy skill flow
Free from mana
Awesome AOE moves
Skills scale high off atk
Blade of Exile
Squishy early on
Dance is ****
-Riven's a runner. She needs to charge in quick and still have the speed to run out just as fast. Picked over flash cause it's more consistant.
-Great for getting early distance, flashing in to ki shout hardcore or running through walls. I still pick Ghost tho.
-Slows peeps down but with the items I pick it's not that useful.
-What's mobility? Getting to places ****ing fast. Getting there in 3 secs to help your team? YES.
Greater Mark of Desolation
-Armor pierce. Tanks are your worst nightmare. Without this you don't stand a chance.
Greater Seal of Vitality
-She needs the health. It's not as awesome as the flat boost early on but the scaling of it is amazing.
Greater Glyph of Focus
-Cooldown boy! There's not much more else to say!
Greater Quintessence of Desolation
-Same diff as the Mark.
Blade of the Exile/Wind Slash
Huh. Odd ****er huh? Getting only level 4 in both Ki Shout and Broken Wings? Da hell? Simple. Get your Ki shout first cause it has this awesome little thing called +1.0 bonus atk. Get the damage high and let your build fill in the rest of the damage for now. Then get some **** in Blade of the Exile. It's your main atking move. Gets you close, gets you kills. Keeping this at 30dmg till level 14 is ******ed.
So yeah. First get 1 point in all your skills, Broken Wings, Ki Shout, Valor. Etc. Get Ki shout to 3 for the damage, get Broken wings to 2 get Ki Shout to 4, get Wings to 4. Get that second Blade point then Max both Ki Shout and Wings. Finish your **** in Valor.
People are saying get Valor early. The ****. It's situational. The dash is too short to be that helpful other than a sudden juke or charge in. You're gonna be initiating with Broken Wings, supplementing it with Ki Shout then you're either using Valor for the added chase, bringin up the shield to take a hit if you're gettin ganked, or runnin off if they take your CD's into account to chase you. Valor is situational. You don't need it ready all the time.
-Riven's squishy no doubt. **** the blade and it's lifesteal/atk, you need to keep alive.
-Essentially the Garen build at this point. CDR NEED.
Boots of Speed
-Run boy. Run.
-Now this is where the **** starts happening. All your moves give heavy as **** bonus from your atk. Ki shout at ****ing +1!? YES. This is your core item fo sho.
-The mana's ****ing useless on Riven but **** boy. Run speed? Health? Slow? 150% SHEEN!? YES. You need this.
-I like the dodgin/armor. Keeps me healthy. =3 Make sure to get the dodge increase **** if you get this.
-Atk dmg!? Atk speed!? Armor pierce!? Riven uses autoatks by the buttload. You need this hardcore.
-I'm actually not that big a fan of Ghostblade but dude. Can't just waste that Brutalizer earlier up there.
-What's better than atk? MOAR ATK.
Trinity Force->Frozen Mallet
-Frozen Mallet is for when you need a bit more bulk and more reliable slow. Great item but Trinity force gives you a lot more but Mallet iiiis cheaper.
Ninja Tabi->Mercury's Treads
-Riven needs to run man. Merc Treads are when you need to be careful of a lotta snare ****ers.
Black Cleaver->Last Whisper
More armor piercing than Cleaver but less atk. When you gotta steamroll tanks hardcore.
-Keep alive playah. Keep alive.
Sword of the Occult
-Dude. If you can keep alive, get this man. Now this is REAL steamrolling.
-Not a bad option for serious bro. Hexdrinker gives you a shield and ****.
-More utility than anything but hey, a cleanse is a cleanse.
