Hello everyone, welcome to my guide for Garen, The Might Of Demacia. Garen is a champion that can be played in various ways as like tank or dps or even hybrid. In this guide I'll show you the dps way which is in my opinion the best.

For Runes i use Greater Quintessence of Desolationx3 and Greater Mark of Desolation x9 for armor penetration, the tramp card of every dps champion. Also at my dps champions I use Greater Glyph of Warding x9 and Greater Seal of Resilience x9 for armor and magic resist bonus. This increases your survivability, especially at early game.

My masteries are 21/9/0 based on attack damage and armor

The items are the most important thing on a champion. A good build can give you victory easier. With Mercury's Treads Garen gains a good bonus of magic resistance and tenacity a very useful ability especially at team fights. Frozen Mallet, Warmog's Armor and Atma's Impaler are a really hardcore build. They give you a great amount of health and health regeneration, as they slow enemies and give extra damage based on your health. Yommu's Ghostblade is the perfect weapon for dps champions for many reasons: 1st it gives you more armor penetration 2nd by activating it you gain extra attack and movement speed and 3rd it simply rises your damage. Finally Infinity Edge is the icing on the cake due to the great amount of damage and critical chance that it gives.

Pros: At early game you can be a killing machine really easy
Also this continues at late game
This build is especially good at team fights cause you can silence, slow and deal great damage to all enemies due to Garen's 3rd skill

Cons: This build isn't that much tanky so you must be really careful cause at early game you can die as easy you can kill
Also in late game maybe you' ll need to buy a Guardian Angel for more survivability if the enemies are feeded
