What do you mean by 'get blue'?
Also, I'm not wasting gold on items, these items help me get through the game... what item am I wasting anyways? all my items serve purposes... and thx for backing me up on the FoN business.

Alright, thank you all for the commenting.
There is a few things I would like to say:
@Nighthawk I use the Force Of Nature because I think it works, I appreciate the advice, but have you even tried it my way?
Also Nighthawk, the SECOND comment posted answers your inquiry about the Manamune, so please read, and I appreciate the feedback, but at least don't waste my time with repeated questions.
@Luckyspec Yeah, you "Waste" CDR, but only at the end, working up to level 18 though is tough if you have long cooldowns, so the whole point is to get your cooldowns high in the beginning so you are ahead of the game early, then late game you still have great CDR.
@Manuda I originally had an item with the word "Catalyst" in the name, I replaced it with the item "Force Of Nature".

Also add 9% from masteries for cooldown reduction. lol this is such a waste

Oh, I almost forgot-
Having a Philosophers stone is not recommended for Ryze. He is not a support. He is better with having a ton more mana.

No. You have no health for your FoN to work off, Banshee's gives you both damage and survivability as does RoA, FoN gives you less survivability then either of those. Manamune is also bad because only the base mana stacks off of it, not the ToG mana.

Couple things...
I noticed your runes- You have 2 for CDR. Seals and Quints. The total for the runes in CDR is approximately 10% at lvl 18, which is great, Ryze needs the cooldowns. You then have Ionian Boots, which give 15% CDR. So now you are at 25%. Going further, you have the Frozen heart; this item gives 20% CDR. You are now at a total of 45% CDR. The cap on CDR is 40%. 5% may not seem like that big of a deal, but if we are trying to build a cost efficient Ryze, then 5% is waste. You also made a grave mistake by forgetting Ryze's Q passive. He already gains 2% per Level of Over load(Q); Netting him a total of 10% CDR. You have built a Ryze with 55% CDR at this point, and wasted not 5 but 15% cdr. Something to think about.

Nice build. I like the 40% CDR.
What do you mean when you say "I replaced the Catalyst with a Force of Nature ". what was the other item you used?

Thank you for informing me of the sharing between the two items.

Being that as it is though I still believe having both is good because even if they go to the same pool, they get to it differently which will just make it so that you can get to it much much faster.

The reason I put the armor/MgR items is to buff the champion a little bit, I do not use this build personally, anymore since ryze isn't FTP, but my friend uses the build and when i asked him what he felt liek he was lacking in a fight he resopnded with "I feel like I die to much". So I removed a catalyst item and put in the Force Of Nature.

I do thank you for try to help with the production of this build, if you like it please vote :).
