19 armor pen + 6 from masteries. the 6,4 attack dmg gives you some fine early dmg. rengars "W" will give you all the defense you need early game.

Skill Sequence

I max BOLA STRIKE first, it is a great way to poke, and keep away unwanted ganks or just prevent Singed, Riven(give that ***** some cooldown), Garen, Renekron, Irelia and Wu Kong from run you over. try it, if this isn't your cup of tea, feel free to find your own lvl consequence.
