Pyke
If Satan is the Anti-Christ, then Pyke would have to be the Anti-Lux. This is your hardest matchup as support. Everything you hate as Lux, he has. Mobility, Sustain through your poke, engage. CC, and a ult that allows him to take 1-for-1 trades all day long. His Level 2 power spike is unrivaled by any other support in the game. A good Pyke will E > Flash into you followed by a Q to hook you into a kill. Ban or dodge on sight! If you ever fight one, stay alert and on your toes!
Ashe
Everything about Ashe just screams "FREELO" when coupled with a high damage support like Lux. Like you, Ashe his impressive range and poke allowing you to keep lane priority most of the game. Her slows allow you to land skillshots for free, and a well placed Ashe ultimate coupled with your full combo is a free kill.

Champion Build Guide

For clarity, however, I would like to mention that in spite of having 7 years of experience, nothing listed here is absolute. I am, after all, only human and I make mistakes and I respect that other people have their specific preferences. With that being said, I'm sure many of you will question my reasoning or augment the Items/Runes that I have laid within this guide, and that is perfectly ok. Now that you know a little about me, let's move on to Lux.
Pros:
- Easy to learn
- Great Teamfight Potiential
- Long Range
- Good Poke/Burst Damage
Cons:
- Squishy and Immobile
- Completely Skillshot Dependent
- Lackluster wave clear
- Abilities are easy to dodge
- Ample amounts of counterplay (Mercs, Legend: Tenacity, Cleanse, QSS, etc.)
- Long Cooldowns
- Mana Issues
- Constantly being harassed by others for playing a "braindead" champion.
