1. Rengar should be played in top or the jungle NOT in bot lane
2. A support exists because there needs to be someone who can be useful without items
3. If I was playing Katarina or Akali I would camp this lane and buy a Mejai's rengar has no Hard Crowd Control
4. Lastly when I play ADC I don't ask I DEMAND a meta support if I don't get one I take Revive Teleport and go 0/20 in lane.
The reason you would run Rengar Bot is to prevent the enemy botlane doing anything. It works like anti-support, where instead of making your ADC having an easier time farming, you prevent the enemy ADC from farming. Also if someone is camping this bot lane it gives your team time to do things elsewhere on the map, like pushing top/mid or counterjungle. You're basically bating effort from other lanes, which in turn will make you're other lanes short in numbers. THAT is how Rengar bot works.
