Mel can counter Seraphine by using her W, timing it with your support´s abilities is the best you can do against her.
She has more poke early in the game, so play safe and make sure you dont get caught by her E.

Best sinergy for Seraphine, with Nami´s E, you basically have a W that always heals and applies shields AOE and an E that always roots.

Champion Build Guide
Seraphine isn´t a champ that works great by herself, once you have objects and are fed, maybe you´ll drop some kills, but until then it´s better to play as a team.
Another reason is that Sera becomes an antitank, she burns more depending on her enemies health, so against tanks that do health scaling this build is a perfect choice.
As a support you just need to play safe, making sure to hit your E´s so you can root people.
