Aatrox

Aatrox is a champion who can give new Sett players a hard time, but once you master your character's mechanics, the matchup becomes simple. The key to playing against him is dodging his Q and W abilities (if his W hits you, move sideways to escape do not move forward or backward). PTA MATCH UP

Akali

When playing against Akali, her W can be tricky; to avoid missing your own W during a fight, buy an Oracle. Sett dominates her without much trouble if he lands his W (to prevent her from escaping with her R, try to use your E to stun her before she can use her ability). CONQ MATCH UP

Ambessa

Ambessa is a champion who can be annoying with her dashes, which make it easy for her to escape; you don't need any flashy moves to beat her just time your W and E well so she can't get away. Eventually, this matchup won't give you any trouble (if you want to boost your chances of catching her, you could try running Ghost). CONQ MATCH UP

Aurora

Aurora is a tough matchup for Sett because she can escape, turn invisible, and poke you from a distance; to beat her, you need to rush Stridebreaker. Take Teleport as your Summoner Spell, since fighting her early on isn't worth it, and Teleport allows you to return to the lane easily without missing farm. Always pick Boots of Swiftness against her. CONQ MATCH UP

Camille

Camille is one of the easier matchups for Sett; the only thing you need to watch out for is her second Q. Camille can dodge your W by using her R, so after level 6, wait for her to use her ultimate before casting yours W, or catch her with your E in a way that stuns her rather than just slowing her. Cho'Gath

Sett is a lethal weapon; if you use your ultimate on him while his teammates are standing behind him, you’ll simply blow them up, since his ultimate deals damage based on the bonus HP of the enemy he throws. To beat this champion in lane, you just need to dodge his Q if he misses it, he’ll always lose the trade. CONQ MATCH UP
