Story

Whatever the truth of his history might be, Shaco has joined the League of Legends for reasons only he knows. He is a terrifying figure, typically shunned by both his fellow champions and the media at large. Only the summoners in the Institute of War know why such a creature was allowed into the League, but most Runeterrans suspect it to be a means that allows the power that be to keep an eye on the ever-elusive Shaco. Unsurprisingly, this champion is popular in places where madness can openly reign, such as among the power-hungry summoners of Zaun and Noxus.
Whatever you do, don't tell him you missed the punch line.

Shaco teleports nearby and becomes stealthed for 3.5 seconds.
His next basic attack within the next 6 seconds will critically strike, dealing 140/160/180/200/220% damage (normal critical strikes deal 200% damage).
Cost

Shaco creates a Jack in the Box at the target location. It will Stealth after 2 seconds, and pop out when an enemy comes near, fearing nearby enemies for 0.5/0.75/1/1.25/1.5 seconds and attacking them.
Its attacks deal 35/50/65/80/95 (+0.2) magic damage and it lasts for 60 seconds while stealthed or 5 seconds while firing.
Cost
50/55/60/65/70 Mana
Range
425

Passive: While Two-Shiv Poison is ready to cast, Shaco's basic attacks reduce the target's Movement Speed by 20/22.5/25/27.5/30% for 2 seconds. Also reduces minions' chance to hit by 20/22.5/25/27.5/30% for 2 seconds.
Active: Deals 50/90/130/170/210 (+ ) (+1) magic damage to target enemy and reduces their Movement Speed by 20/22.5/25/27.5/30% for 3 seconds.
Cost
50/55/60/65/70 Mana
Range

Shaco vanishes briefly and reappears with a clone that lasts up to 18 seconds. The clone deals 75% of Shaco's damage and receives 50% increased damage.
On death, the clone detonates, dealing 300/450/600 (+1) magic damage to nearby enemies.
Cost
100 Mana
Range
500

- Using Deceive over terrain can help you make a clean escape.
- Try getting items with on-hit effects. These will also benefit your Hallucination clone.
- Deceive's damage can be increased with increased Critical Damage effects like Infinity Edge.
- Spread boxes around baron to bait a fight.
- Spread boxes around dragon.
- Use boxes as wards when farming lanes.
- Always use boxes at any location when you have Golem buff.
- Boxes is a .5 seconds stun, always remember that.
- Drop boxes over wall to give sight.

Shaco is a very strong early champion, however he becomes weaker and weaker as the game goes on.
In order to be useful in the late stages of the game, it is mandatory to pull off successful ganks and dragons.
As shaco, you have complete advantage on ganks and dragons, because shaco can escape from ganks and dire situations with deceive, therefore you can play very aggressive and overextend.

Team Fighting is the most difficult phase of the game. Shaco truly shines when fighting in 1v1 , 2v2 ( small engagements) , however weak in big engagements. As a squishy assassin your goal is to go in after your tanks soak up damage. It is important for you to focus the correct target and every team fight is situational. My only advice would be to only focus carries when they are out of position. Do not ever put yourself in danger, in order to focus a carry. It is highly likely that they'll refocus and kill you first.
By now everybody is between lv6-11 and can burst you down with their ultimates. If you are playing a bad Shaco and underestimating your opponents then you WILL lose the game so don't make stupid mistakes.
Keep looking for ganks and doing everything you did from the chapter above, just don't die and let the game snowball from it.
Mid game you will want to pink ward dragon. Safe times to do dragon is when there is 2 top or you just have a fed carry to snowball the game. Keep a timer on dragon, it spawns every 6 mins.
When doing dragon activate your ult and let your ult tank by making it hit first.
If a tower is down on either side then you should try and push it as much as possible. Keep jack in the boxes in bushes and ward the red/blue buff area on that side. If you are fed then keep trying to find ganks and let your team farm that lane. When you are fed and mia you will put more pressure onto the enemy team while letting your teammate catch up on farm.
Jungle buffs respawn every 5mins. If you know that the enemy jungler started at blue then it will spawn before 7:10. Try and set up jitb's and call your team for a gank. Be careful for wards and watch out for mid mia because he might be heading to grab blue.
Keep playing safe and farm up your .

Mobility Boots vs Bezerkers Greaves
With mobility boots you only make use of it mostly in the early game (10 min), where people are still laning and you have strong ganking power with just wriggles. I do admit they help you position yourself in teamfights better but after you pop your deceive and go on the carry you will probably lose the battle, with your ult on bezerkers give you a total of 50% attack speed. That's a big deal.
Infinity Edge vs Triforce
I buy triforce because of the utility it gives. Triforce gives me hp, mana, a slow, move speed and enough dps to kill the enemy. The sheen proc on it is like a lesser version of IE's crit. You will be able to proc it twice with deceive and shiv (in my guide I told you to save your shiv incase the enemy decides to use his flash, then you shiv to chase down).
Phage+sheen (2575g) vs BF sword+pickaxe (2625g):
- Sheen gives you 250 mana which you will notice and will allow you to roam longer with mana to escape.
- Phage gives you a nice boost 225hp which is alot early on with a bonus slow proc.
- You will have as much or as big of a burst with sheen+phage than with bf sword+pickaxe because of sheen procs.
- The most important reason why I buy triforce is because it is built out of lower tier items. There is no reason for a jungle assassin to be holding onto 1650g for 1 item.

So Shaco has many, many jungling routes. Infact, he is probably one of the most versatile junglers. My core route is double buff start. It is: 4 boxes red, start placing at 1 min sharp, do wraiths, do blue, gank lvl 3.
Alternative route is:
Wolves > Blue > Wraiths > Wolves > Red > Mini golems. or gank.
