Hello. I'm BeastWorthy, and I main Shaco. I have read several guides over the course of my game play. I wanted to give some of that back. In this guide I'm going to try to teach you the way I play Shaco as of season three. This is my first guide so have a little mercy, but I think if you give it a try, you'll see it's fast in the jungle and does quite a bit of damage in the late game for dropping ADC's, and other squishys.

I used to play Shaco as a pure attack damage gank, but with the release of the new items in season three, I decided it was time to add a little bit of damage to Two-Shiv Poison. Liandry's Torment adds a Damage over time effect equal to five percent of their total health. If the victims mobility is hampered, the effect is increased to ten percent. Two-Shiv Poison has a one to one ratio for ability power, and also scales with attack damage. Liandry's Torment adds seventy ability power, wich increases base damage of Two-shiv, and two hundred health for a little added survival. Lich bane adds eighty ability power, and when you use a spell it makes your next auto attack deal an additional fifty, plus seventy five percent of your ability power. That's one hundred fifty ability power, meaning one hundred fifty additional damage to your Two-Shiv Poison, which causes the ten percent effect on Liandry's Torment due to the slow, and Lich Bane to proc. Then you decieve behind them, drop a Jack in the box for a fear and slow, and then open on them. You should decieve behind them, doing so will prock the damage from it, you gain the bonus from striking from behind, and the Lich Bane damage will proc from your next strike. It sets you up for a large amount of burst.

This is very important. Lets say you're starting from the blue side of the field. You will run north to your blue and immediately place a jack in the box in the lane north of blue that leads into jungle. This gives you vision of an invade from the top. It will fear them and give you time to get away. At one minute and ten seconds you should start placing your jack in the boxes in the very corner of where blue spawns. You can have three. DO NOT smite the blue buff. Kill the blue first, it will die VERY quickly. Then finish off the little ones. Use a health pot if necessary. Then head to red. Place the jack in the box behind the lizard, then decieve behind it and get the back stab damage. You are going to want to smite this one. This ensures you a very quick double buff for a gank. Then you have to pay attention to which lane gets the gank. Usually if there are two top, and no jungler you want to head there. Should your top lane be dominating the one versus two, then it's your decision. You have to take a few things into account. You can get a faster double buff than most other champions. You can try to steal his buff, or gank him when he's low, or you can see which lane isn't pushed too far or needs assistance. Or for instance, if someone is low but has pushed your ally back a little ways, obviously you want that easy early gank for the kill and assist. From there you basically roam back and forth through the jungle and appear where needed. Think of jungling as a global support. If you get fed it's nice, but getting assists and getting teammates fed is just as nice. If you're between buffs and you know it will be a little while before your buff respawns, be sure to smite for the extra gold. You can one shot the smaller minions or do a lot of damage to a larger minion. It's mainly to speed up your jungling and give you the extra ten gold.

Back Stab - Shaco deals 20% bonus damage when striking a unit from behind with his auto attacks or abilities.

Deceive - Shaco instantly blinks to a target nearby location and enters stealth for up to 3.5 seconds. His next auto-attack in the next 6 seconds will critically strike with modified critical damage (normal critical strikes are 200% damage), dealing physical damage and ending his stealth.

Jack in the Box - Shaco creates a Jack in the Box at the target location with 150 health. It will stealth after 2 seconds and trigger when an enemy comes near, fearing nearby enemies briefly and attacking them. It deals magic damage, and lasts 60 seconds stealthed or 5 seconds while firing. Casting Jack In The Box breaks stealth.

Two-Shiv Poison - Passive - Shaco's attacks poison his targets, reducing their movement speed for 2 seconds. It also gives affected non-champion units a chance to miss their attacks.
Activated - Shaco throws a dagger to target enemy dealing magic damage and applying his slowing poison to them for 3 seconds. The passive is deactivated during the cooldown.

Hallucinate - Shaco disappears, becoming untargetable for half a second and creates a clone of himself next to him that will last for up 18 seconds. The clone deals 75% of Shaco's damage and receives 50% extra damage. This clone deals 50% damage to towers and inhibitors. At the end of its duration or when dying the clone will explode, dealing magic damage to nearby enemies.
