@Soul
learn to read because the swiftness boots can be replaced with other boots based on the situation
1. learn english
2. lol why boots of swiftness you should choose Ninja Tabi
3. you should take boots first...
Why are you telling him what to do?. This is (/was) a fine way of playing shen. When building shen a full tank, he is extremely hard to kill. On this guide, he uses only one slot for a dps tool, which is fine. He still uses a lot of good tanking items.
BUT: Since Last Whisper has been changed, you might want to try the Sword of the Divine instead. Its active is brutal and often overlooked. I don't really see the point in getting a last whisper, even before it was changed. When playing shen, you should focus on killing the enemy carry, which don't have a lot of armor. The effect of 40% armor penetration would be very small, hence I would choose for flat armor pen and attack speed (Sword of the Divine <3).
Peace.

Just some remarks from my point of view:
1. Both Vorpal Blade and Ki Strike deliver magic dmg, so I would recommend replacing Armor Pen Marks with Magic Pen Marks. It does not make that much of a difference but it's still more efficient.
2. Number 1 also shows why you should not get Last Whisper. All of your burst dmg comes from Vorpal Blade and Ki Strike and, as stated above, that's magic dmg.
3. Thornmail is only good in a few occasions i.e. fighting Wankplank, Trynd or any other very hard hitting champion. It's not a bad item at all, I get it pretty often myself but it really only has potential as one of your last two items.
4. If you want to get Sunfire, don't get it last but get it first. It's HP, armor and AoE dmg, it will make your farm easier and will dish out some nice dmg (especially if you can build a second one fast) in the early and mid stages. It wont do you that good getting it last, lots of better items to get for that stage of the game.
5. Incorporate some magic resistance in your build, if you're up against a magic heavy team ... heck if you're up against two magic nukers you'll be completely butchered. Take for instance Malzahar & Morgana, there is just no way Feint can absorb all that dmg all at once. Force of Nature, Banshee or even Aegis could save your *** and your team.
All in all a decent build but with some flaws. Shen is mostly adaptation anyway (Warmog, Sunfire, Thorn, Randuin, Mallet, Leviathan, Atma, FoN, Banshee, etc etc etc), see what you need to counter.

Nag
Agree completely with this. I;m working on a build now that incorporates these tips - i.e. sunfire right after boots and thornail only against heavy DPS. But especially... HEAVY MAGIC RESIST!
I just got LoL though :/
