Maybe the Items this guide shows, are really simple for a tank and semilar to all the other tanks. But those items really fit to Shen. More about it in Summoner Spells.

Vorpal Blade: Throws a blade on an enemy target. This target will be marked for a few seconds. If you or your mates attack this target it will heal them a bit.
The Vorpal Blade is a good skill to harash. so get it upskilled fast to lvl3 because it deals a lot of damage then.

Feint: this skill gives you a shield that prevents you from any damage. in combination with shadow dash its a good way to harash.

Shadow Dash: Sprints in any direction and taunts every enemy champion which you pass through.
This units will be silenced and have to attack you with auto attacks.
If an enemy is near your turret, always try to taunt them because your tower will attack the one taunted.

Stand United (Ultimate): This skill is the best ***-saver skill in league of legends. just use your ultimate on a mate and xou will give him a shield (which isnt low) and you will teleport yourself to him in a few seconds.
This ultimate gives you also the job to keep an eye on the map an the health bar at the left.

A good skill combination is: Shadow dash, Feint, Vorpal Blade, Auto-hit.
If you want to save somone : Stand United, Shadow Dash, Feint, Vorpal Blade, Auto-hit.
