um... shield later? you gotta get at least one shield (if not 2 depending on who you're against) to fuel you mana... play conservative and rush em when open and the run in fear of a second direct hit from Blade...

I want to know why no one actually tries these things out before they rate. I mean really?... Yes, I use clarity. I provided alternative summoner spells for a reason. If someone would actually read what I wrote, it says it is controversial and nobody really uses it. That's great, I do, and it works great for me.

Clarity on Sivir, i mean, seriously? If you're nothing close to good with her, you won't need mana item or clarity. Why? Caus if you're good :

1. You won't waste mana with Ricochet, since you don't want to push the lane early game
2. You will not use Boomerang Blade unless you are sure to hit your enemy ALONE twice with it
3. You will intercept spells with your shield

Also, items with on-hit-effect are really bad on her, since you're Ricohet only procs item on the first hit. You're better with AD-AS. The only on-hit-effect item you should get, IMO, is Black Cleaver. Thank you for making a guide, i'm sorry, but i have to give you -1.

There's no need for mana regen items with clarity. That's why it's there. The money is better spent on speed and damage. I never have mana issues with this build. And yes, that's a nice game. I've done that good and better, the one I posted lasted ~20 minutes >_> and I was the top champ. You need to try my build before commenting or rating, please.

Bad build IMHO, you mentioned the need of mana, yet you don't run any mana regen items.
And any decent Sivir needs Ricochet for creeps and Boomerang for champ kills. The shield and ultimate can come later.
