With his ranged attacks that are pretty fast he counters gangplank normally. But with this build there is really nothing you will be able to do to him if he has at least half of a brain cell.

Fiora

If she is capable fiora, she will make your life living hell. You need to poke her with range through your E and Q. Ideally you should be able to juke her q's.
Trying to 1v1 her is how you can throw the lane really fast.

Kayle

After level 6, she has really easy time last hitting your barrels.

Vayne

She is a big threat even to normal gangplank build. For this build it is totally unplayable, she has more damage to tanks, so you just make yourself a better target for her with this build. You can still outplay her, but it is really hard.

HER SPELLS

Her second Q (both Qs ar empowered next auto attacks) is her whole damage, try to avoid getting hit.


sweep is her main poke. Outer edge heals her, deals more damage and slows you. It has long cooldown early. It can also be a combo starter if she hits it.



is an insane gap close, only works on walls, really high cooldown



is a target spells which for few seconds lock her target in a zone. Really great dodgin tool, since she jumps into the air for a moment, before dropping on her target. It also empowers her AA similiar to BoTRK.

He is pretty straight forward and has pretty hard time suprising if you already know his kit. Lot of people are suprised by his lvl 1 all in abillity. Respect his dmg. If you can just poke him and get free stacks while playing weak side, then it is really playable/

Teemo

It can go either way. Just don't trade too much with him. Try to use your stronger poke mainly when you already have heartsteel. Dont trade more than one q with him, cause he will probably outrade you or even kill you.

Gnar

It is hard to play vs him, but he has pretty small range for his ranged autoattacks. So if you will learn the matchup it will get much much easier.

Jax

If you are going to poke jax he will probably always jump on you with E and even if you can perfectly use your W, he will still outrade you. That is before heartsteel. After heartsteel (and if he doesnt have divine sunderer) you should be able to sneak some good poke into him. But trying to 1v1 him will be hard. Keep your distance as much as possible and punish his E cooldown.

Tahm Kench

If you know his spells this matchup is not a big deal. Your W is really strong in this matchup and he cannot deal enough damage to you. You have to play witch caution tho, because if you get greedy enough, he might be able to all in and kill you. If you will play it smart and stack as much as you can (gold and healt) then this lane will be playable for you.

Renekton

With this build he shouldnt be able to all in you. But again if you are going to be greedy and playing it badly you can end up at slaughter. Basicly bonus hp+hp regen from heartsteel in combination with your W should be enough sustain to play vs him with confidence.

Illaoi

Pretty easy to play against. Your aim is not to win the 1v1 vs her, you are not going to have damage with this build. Early on you are looking for free gold from pokes and tentacles. After buying heartsteel you can try to poke her until she will be dead for sure.

Dr. Mundo

Play with range and you will have really easy time. He shouldn't be able to suprise you, his kit is sooo straight forward.
