Hello, and welcome to my Sona guide. I made this guide because Sona is a very underestimated champion most of the time, this build proves that even though she is meant for support, she can still be tanky enough like most tanks.

Pros
-Good support
-Her E combined with Shurelya's Battlesong helps in all situations
-Her Q can be used to boost the damage output of her team while slightly due to low scaling buff her heal

Cons
-Item/runes reliant
-Fairly Squishy without proper rune set
-Early game squishyness can lead to you getting focused by the enemy team

The runes consist mostly of Defensive runes. Getting the two gold per 5 Quints will help you give the minion kills to your AD/AP Carry in your lane yet still give you gold to get your stuff.The Marks and Seals and a Quint are armor,due to sona having low early armor.The Glyphs are Magic Resist per level, which will scale well into late game.

The masteries 0-9-21 are the standard for my support getting the light defense on the defense tree while getting the hardcore support in the Utility tree.

The Items placed in this guide have been tried in many games with my clan and have stood the test of several patches.The items order stated in the guide are my order, but your can swap any of it to what you think best fits the situation.
Mercury's Treads can be swapped with Ninja Tabi or vice versa depending on the situation, but the disable reduction provided by Mercury's Treads will help in most team fights if you get CC'ed.The item set provided above is meant for enemy teams with balanced AD/AP Carries.

OK, I foresee people saying WHY NOT Clairvoyance, or Clarity and Flash, Why Heal. all I can say is that these summoner spells can be swapped with what you think best fits.
