Soraka is a ranged supporter. She provides health and mana to all allies, no matter where they are and she dmges the enemies each second. Ur ad carry doesn't need to go b, when he had soraka for supporter. In about a minute she can restore 700 health poionts and over 400 mana points. At lvl 18, soraka heals all her allies fastly, so stick with ur allies and win the teamfight. Soraka doesn't need a lot of ability power, but u if u want to buy items for ap carry or mageds, u can do it, but it will not change anything.

I take ability cooldown reduction's runes, because soraka's heal has 18 sec cd at lvl 1. My items reduces the cd of ur spells. These Runes are Greater mark of focus, Greater seal of focus, Greater glyph of focus and Greater quintessence of focus. U can take runes for xp, Insteed of greater quintessence of focus, u can take xp runes, like greater quintessence of widsom.

My masteries are 9-0-21. Intelligence, sorcery and presence of the master reduce my spells's cd. awereness, help me gain xp fast, without creeping. i have also improved my health and mana regen, so i will not need to cast spells to me.

I take ability power-cooldown recudtion items. These items also give me health and provide some special benefits to my allies. I am starting with meki pendant and a ward. In the game buy at least 10 wards. 3 in early game, 5 in mid game and 2 in end game. for boots i take ionia's. after i take immidiately morrelo's evil tome, to increase my mana regen and to increase my cd reduction. Aegis of the legion provides magic resist, armor and dmg to all nearby allies. ur passive also gives mr, if ur tank has the same item, ur team will gain more armor and mr. shurelya's reverie increase ur hp and mp regen and the cd reduction. if u activate it's ability, it will gives ur teamates bonus movement speed for 3 seconds. Every supporter needs will of ancients, because it provides spell vlamp and ap to ur mages champ and u and the whole team( Spell vamp = lifesteam from spells). and finally i take soul shroud, because it gives u hp and reduces the cd of all allies , no matter where they are and also increase them, their mana renen by 12%.

Soraka's passive is miracle. Soraka gives to all nearby allies 16 magic resist. starcall deals magic dmg to all enemies at close distance and reduces their mr by 2 for each hit. that also helps soraka to farm, if she is alone and there are a lot of minions. ***tral blessing heals ur ally and increases his armor for a short time. upgraded at lvl 5 it provides 100 armor. so i maximize it at lvl 10. infuse gives one of ur allies and u mana. if it is casted to an enemy champ, it deals dmg and silences him for a short time. wish heal all ur allies, wherever they are.

I made 20 ranked's wins with soraka. That's why she is an excellent supporter. There are too many players, that play soraka, but most of them play bad. for example they kill minions, insteed of letting the ad to kill them, they steal kills, they steal xp from the jungler, they don't buy the right items, the play soraka ad etc. With my build, there is no way to loose a ranked.

In teamfights, soraka sticks with her teamates and healing them when it is necessery. Soraka restores 200 hp with her astral blessing to an ally + 400 to all. So ask from ur team to protect u and the carry. if the supporter manage to stay alive, ur opponents will not kill ur teamates easily. soraka also can stop ulties with her silence. So, if the enemy team has a kata or mf, consider to keep ur infuse on, until they used their ultimates.

A supporter must buy at least 10 wards in a game. buy wards every time u return to the base. Put wards at the dragon, baron (after 12 lvl), at their blue, at their red, at their golems, at ur lane, everywere on their side to see what their are doing. but don't overdo. remember don't spend all the wards u bought, because a ward is destroyed after 3 minutes. So keep some and put again after 3 minutes.
