Chapter 1
Depending on the situation, I will almost always get Will of the Ancients rather than Deathfire Grasp.
Now before you start telling me this isn't a valid build keep in mind the play-style is designed to make your lane partner a GOD (by having the Farm of a solo lane)
Hear of Gold, Kage's Pick, and Philosopher's Stone will give you about 15 additional gold per 10 (~2gold/sec) AND late game become items that will GREATLY help your team in offensive or defensive situations. Iron Locket being among my favorite for protecting all local ally's health before or just after a Wish. giving your team a ~200 hp buffer and then a 500-600 heal from wish, saving ignited allies etc.
Deathfire Grasp Explanation: The only reason for Deathfire on Soraka is the small bit of AP, 15% CD reduction, and 30% Direct damage to help your team burst down the tank, If your team can burst a tank down without it, get Will of the Ancients in its stead.
Clarity on Soraka is Primarily to help supplement your early game mana hunger from using Astral Blessing constantly, as a secondary it is to supplement your Carries Mana consumption along side infuse. Teleport is used early game for getting back to your Carry ASAP so you can maintain Lane control (also when it is up after getting Philosophers Stone you should be able to afford Heart of gold or Kage's Pick).
As Most Soraka players know Astral Blessing reaches practical lane sustain at 3 points in it, Healing for around 220. At this point it will be VERY easy to push the lane.
The absolute best part about this build is that you will make about the same amount of gold no matter what you are doing and this amount will dwarf the gold income of those silly creep farmers.
There isn't a guide on this page because if you're reading this you sifted through all the other guides and have an Idea of how you want to play Soraka.
Enjoy!
