Soraka is really good champion for a challenging team fight, and I like playing her. She can't take lots of kills but with this build, u will see what is her best.

I bought Ap runes because it increases your health skill greatly and it helps you to survive. Also Infuse is fast skill for catching a character who has low hp. Thats why starting with 50 AP makes your Infuse effective.

Early game,
You can start with dorans ring and a health potion, then blasting wand because u have 90 AP with it and Starcall and Infuse help you farmin' more minions.
-Why do you need to buy Boots Of Mobility?
when your team mates are running with low hp then u can catch them fast and you can use Astral Blessing on him.
Mid Game,
Rabadon deathcap makes you immortal like Kayle's ultimate. ı know soraka's skills have long cd then u can buy Morelio's Evil Tome.

Heal and Fortify always save your life and your team's life.
