Hello Summoners, and welcome to my first published mobafire guide. Most people play Soraka as support, but i thoroughly enjoy playing her in mid lane. It may not be perfect, but i will update it as I figure out some things wrong with the build.

I run the standard offensive/utility for a mid lane ap caster. You can run defensive/utility as well, it still works.

The items are pretty self explanatory, i didnt put every sub item in (the ones that build into the big items) because it would be way too long.

I start with heal because you will be last hitting creeps with your auto attack, and at level 1, the heal will negate any harass the enemy has put on you. If you notice i max my Q first, with the first point in at level 2. This is going to be the main source for your damage and farming for the most part of the game. Level 3, your E has arrived. The silence and the best damage spell soraka has, I max this last because Your Q and W are the most crucial spells in a team fight. Your ult you level at 6,11,16 like any other champ.

I choose Ignite and Flash because i like the heal debuff and damage on ignite. Flash is good for sketchy situations, allowing you to jump in and initiate or jump out and run. Flash is a clutch spell.
