This Jungle yi route is odd and is one of the many complicated routes Master Yi takes to jungle. This route, my route, and a lot of other routes such as CLG's saintvicious's route are all different. If you think you can find a better route for this build, then please share!

I have tested the route, and it works. Although, I recommend taking a point into meditate if you feel self conscious.

I have only found ONE replay of Strelo, and combining that and his profile I was able to come upon this. I have no logical explanation to his build, but being a <1800 Elo player who mains Yi, that has to say something.

Strelo's runes have no armor, but have scaling magic resistance blues, Armor Penetration reds, and Attack Speed marks.

Reds are Armor Penetration.

Yellows are Attack Speed.

Blues are scaling Magic Resistance runes(Choice really)

Quints are Attack Speed.

Summoners spells are the standard Jungler /////

I'm quite sure the following works as well:

Armor yellows

Health Yellows

Health per Level Yellows

Crit chance yellows

Make sure your team sets up a guard around you. This way you won't be ganked as easily.


1. Start the game with a Longsword and TWO health potions. You wait for the second one.

2. Go to Golems. Alpha Strike and smite one. If alpha procced, smite the one it didn't proc on. Pop a health pot.

3. Get Wuju Style and go to wraiths. Pop another health pot if needed.

4. Go to Wolves. No health pot is needed.

5. Go to Blue and get rid of the small lizards. Port back and buy Cloth Armor and two health pots.

6. Go back to blue and finish it off. Go to wolves wraiths and golems etc. until you can buy boots of speed.

7. Port back and buy the boots. Take red. Gank.

8. After port back and buy a madred's razors.

- Make sure to ward the enemy jungle to invade.

Alternative items:
- instead of , it works wonders actually, because PD doesn't give dodge.


1. When the game starts, get a and two . Go to the small golem camp near lizard buff.

Note- Don't start jungling until all champions (excluding their jungle) are visible

2. When the golems spawn, the golems and the stronger one (if procced on one of them.) If no procs, the one you targetted. If both procced, just one and focus the other. Use one here if needed.

3. Go to the wraiths. . Focus the blue one with on. (If you have a double strike ready after golems, and activate at the same time and double strike the blue wraith.) A is not needed but may be used.

4. Go to the wolves. Again . Just focus the big wolf.

5. Port back. Buy a (If you don't have enough, just wait it out). Repeat your last cycle and port back again. (It's normal :P)

6. Buy a and a if you can.

7. Head over to Blue Golem and initiate with and it near death.

8. Repeat steps 1-4(Don't the little golems) until comes back. (Use a if needed)

9. Go to Red Lizard Buff. Do the same thing as with the golem buff.

10. You can now gank or jungle a bit more to 6.

Strelo's Yi

This Yi has more survivability due to the Veil, Tri Force, and Merc Treads. My Yi is a killing machine, but easily focused. Strelo's Yi doesn't have the damage output of a standard IE Yi. It has the survivability a Yi needs though. Anything else that the readers may discuss may end up here.

This section is the part of the build where you guys help me and others find the reasons behind these items, why a Top Elo player would build Yi like so, etc. This build is open for discussion and I would love to see what you guys say about this odd build. I may also learn a thing or two about the mechanics of this game anyway :P.
