Time is important in the very beginning of the game. Get to your red buff ASAP so you can start putting down boxes in the back of the camp at 1:00 (game time). Put boxes down so you should have 4 at 1:55 when the Lizard Elder spawns, smite him immediately after your boxes begin to attack because he'll die pretty fast, after you smite, kill the little lizards while your boxes kill the Lizard Elder, you should get level 2 after killing him, get your Q ability and then walk to the river bush on top or bottom lane, depending on which side you're on, give your teammates a heads-up and then Q from the bush, if they have wards, Q just a bit before you get there. You have a few seconds after you get out of steal before your crit "buff" from your Q stops. Use your exhaust to slow them down and pick up an easy first-blood. Go over to your blue-buff, being careful to not reveal yourself on the map, you should have enough mana to put down 2 boxes, which is all you need. Put the boxes down on the edge of the bush near blue, hit the big golem and run into the bush so your boxes can attack. If the boxes die and you get hit, you should be fine with a health potion. Blue buff should get you level 3, so get your E which passively slows, so you don't have to wait for exhaust to get off cooldown. Go to top or bottom (depending on which lane you ganked first, gank the opposite) and Q in, don't toss your dagger, but let your E's passive slow them, if they're close enough to getting killed or they made it to their turret you can then toss your E. Now you should have about or just under 1000 gold to get your first item. That'll make it easier for you to jungle. You can pick up some levels by jungling and then go into the enemy jungle and if the enemy jungler isn't near by, you can steal their buffs, or wait to kill them to get ahead in the game. Once you pick up your boots of mobility, you can go around ganking much faster and help your team get those turrets down. Getting your Infinity Edge will help you slice through enemies like a hot knife through butter, and getting your tri-force will give you more damage and survivability. Wit's End helps you get those hits out fast, and more Magic Resist. And if the game goes on for long enough grab that Guardian Angel to piss the enemy team off by using your Q right after you get back up.

1. Place a box in the bushes or jungle entrances so if something goes wrong, you can run past them while your pursuer gets caught in it's fear.

2. Trying to get away is super easy as Shaco, just use your Q a different way you were going to throw them off, or if you're next to a wall, use your Q in place so they think you got away.

3. With your clone out and while you're trying to escape, he follows you, so guide your clone in a different direction. Also once he gets out of range, he automatically resets on you so it looks like you just disappeared.

4. When you're low on health, and a Caitlyn or Karthus (or anyone with some crazy ultimate for that matter) launches their ultimate right at you, right before it hits you, use your ultimate. Your ultimate makes you non-existent for about a second.
