Heimerdinger Passive Ability
Introduction
We are going to take advantage of HEIMERDINGERS PASSIVE SKILL -> Techmaturgical Repair Bots
Heimerdinger gives himself, nearby allied Turrets and Champions 6/12/16/22 health regen per 5 sec. To help us push and sustain lanes with a partner.
There are many pros/cons when playing a support character...
PROS
- Heimer is an excellent support champ with his passive and aura item carry ability
- Heimer's turrets are still pushy
- A much better end game than a traditional heimerdinger
- If your team is smart, the other team does not stand a chance
- Mad amount of assist kills
CONS
- Needs gold to buy his many items
- His damage output is greatly diminished
- Lacks an "escape" spell
- Targeted constantly when other team realizes he is carrying
- You always have to be with a DPS or High damage teamate
- CANNOT SOLO

Notice anything funny about the build?
All these items are AURA items. Designed to help out your team in the heat of battle.
Start off by building towards an Aegis of the Legions. With the nerf it suffered your turrets and minions don't get the boost, but can you imagine laning with a strong DPS champ and you are just helping out their damage output? All the while your turrets annoying the other team and demolishing minions...
GET SOME BOOTS!
Which boots you decide to upgrade will vary according to the situation you find yourself in. Mercury's threads are a good option simply because of their tenacity, but you can customize boots at your whim.
Mercury's Threads:
+25 Magic Resist UNIQUE Passive: Enhanced Movement 2 (does not stack with other Boots) UNIQUE Passive: +35 Tenacity (Tenacity reduces the duration of stuns, slows, taunts, fears, silences, blinds and immobilizes. Does not stack with other Tenacity items.)
Aegis of the Legions:
+270 Health +18 Armor +24 Magic Resist UNIQUE Aura: Nearby allied champions gain 12 Armor, 15 Magic Resist, and 8 Attack Damage.
After Aegis is complete, let's focus on doing a bit more damage than usual. While still offering up a good aura item for our team...
Abyssal Scepter:
+70 Ability Power +57 Magic Resist UNIQUE Aura: Reduces the Magic Resist of nearby enemy champions by 20.
After these items, you can build aura items up however it is more convenient to you. But personally I prefer this order:
Soul Shroud
+520 Health UNIQUE Aura: Nearby allied champions gain 10% Cooldown Reduction and 12 Mana Regen per 5 seconds.
Followed by:
Will of the Ancients
+50 Ability Power UNIQUE Aura: Grants nearby allied champions 30 Ability Power and 25% Spell Vamp
Ending it all with...
Frozen Heart
+99 Armor +500 Mana UNIQUE Passive: +20% Cooldown Reduction UNIQUE Aura: Reduces the Attack Speed of nearby enemies by 20%.
With this build and some competent teamates, the competion will be left dying as you pump up your teamates with insane stats.

We're going to build turrets up first...
"Why?", you may be asking.
Simple, we want to get our max turrets as fast as we can to provide support to our awesome DPS or High Damage output teamate.
When you build and AP Heimerdinger you can easily rush rockets to maximize damage output, but in this case we are not building an AP heimerdinger.
Alternate Rockets and Grenades, as both offer good harrasment options for you as the game progresses. Grenades offer better support, but are more difficult to land. Rockets offer decent AP damage, long range, and extreme pokability but they tend to be unreliable.
Follow your teamate and let the fun begin...
1) Start by dropping down a turret in either of two places
a/ right smack dab in the middle of the enemy minion wave
b/ off into the bushes to protect a sneak attack
2) Let your partner demolish minions along with your turret, follow. BUT DO NOT PLACE A NEW TURRET DOWN.
> Once the enemy tries to engage both of you, THEN you can go ahead and set a turret down, the enemy will either have to focus on you or your turret, you can either run away a bit or let you turrets do some damage. Win/Win in my opinion.
3) Always stick close to your teamate, and if he/she has to go back to buy items, heal, etc. Go back and turret hug until he/she gets back.
* One important note*
LET YOUR TEAMATES KNOW BEFORE YOU START THAT YOU INTEND TO CARRY AND BE SUPPORT, OTHERWISE THEY WILL TRY TO HAVE YOU GO SOLO MID WHERE YOU ARE THE LEAST EFFECTIVE.
+++ In team fights, you have to go in with the rest of the team, because of your auras don't leave your teamates alone!! +++

Support Heimerdinger is not for everybody, in fact I would recommend it only for people who have been playing with him for a while and know his weaknesses and strengths.
Try it out for yourself, and if you have any suggestions to better this support build go ahead and post, and I'll try it out for myself.
Thanks for Reading!!!!
