I said that is my guide and I can play with it best. Maybe there are people who can play with my Guide better. Everyone plays the champion ,who he likes.
Yes, go ahead and ignore the people who actually have some ounce of knowledge about what they're talking about.
That build just gave me cancer.
the good news is that there are treatments...and if the cancer is really bad and they put you on chemo you can always make the request for a prescription for marijuana...so that's nice.
First of all. Sona starts Hymn of Valor because her poke potential allows for early pokes just by being in a bush near the enemy, not to mention the blue Power Chord, which CHUNKS early game health. Aria of Perseverance comes next for sustain. Song of Celerity is IMPERATIVE at Lv3 for purple Power Chord, which is the best way to help your carry get kills.
Marks should be Greater Mark of Magic Penetration to snowball Sona's natural early game potential. If you want mana regen, buy a Chalice of Harmony or Tear of the Goddess (the former being the more effective of the two).
180 mana at Lv18 is pointless via Expanded Mind . You'd be better off putting those points into Mastermind and Summoner's Insight , to decrease the CDs on Flash and Exhaust. %CDR off summoner spells is a lot more impressive than %CDR off your spammy Sona spells.
You really don't need Wanderer if you just cast Song of Celerity at base. It wouldn't hurt to put points into Artificer , especially since you build Shurelya's Battlesong, feasibly Kage's Lucky Pick, and feasibly Mikael's Blessing.
It would not hurt to put points in Pickpocket , since you can easily get the gold from it with Sona's range.
The offensive masteries are okay. I don't think it would hurt to take one point in Summoner's Wrath over Sorcery, since I can say that -10 armor and MR is definitely worth sacrificing 1% CDR on ridiculously small cooldowns.
It's an issue of "What's optimal" versus "what seems to work"; you can win games with no runes and no masteries, but it isn't the way you should play. There are different masteries and skill orders that make Sona perform better than the current set you recommend, which is why what you have listed is being criticized.
I know that there are better Guides. But thats my Guide and I like him. I can play with my Guide best.
I didn't say that now all to play for my guide. So I dont understand the excitment..

Sapphire Crystal + 2x sight wards + mana potion = 585 gold.
Skill order, masteries, and runes need work. No defensive masteries in a 2v2 lane is asking to get first blooded.
I play her with these masteries and Runes, I never had problems with this.
Runes are decent but don't use mana regen reds, they are the worst of the three colors for that stat. Try armor reds and mana regen yellows.
Masteries and skill order are full of ****. No points in E at all means you are guaranteed to burn Flash (or die outright, or both) if the enemy jungler ganks pre-6. And 9/0/21 on Sona is just a no.
This is my guide. I want to show you just how I can play with her best. If you can play better with it differently, it's your Thing.
But thanks you 2 for the review. :)
