Hello, this is my first guide, and I hope it doesn't suck. Talon is the newest addition to the league, and there aren't any guides currently, so I thought I might as well write one myself.

Exhaust is a useful spell when chasing down enemies. Flash is an all around great spell for escaping or chasing.

For this build I am focusing on cooldown reduction. With cdr, you can abuse your ult and skills. Therefore, the runes I use are mostly cd reduction ruins. Armor pen is useful considering all of Talons attacks/spells are ad.

For skills, I like to max out rake first. This will early game farming a lot. However, if you don't lane much, go for noxian diplomacy first, as it does the most damage. Of course, grab your ult whenever you can. Keep shadow assault at 1 until lvl 13. When attacking an enemy, hit q first, then jump on the enemy with e. You will hit the enemy with q the instant you land on them. Use w, then q again, and ult if necessary.

Your ult is a great escape tool. Using your ult grants you temporary stealth, and increased movement speed. In addition, popping w on your enemies will slow them.

For my cd reduction build, getting Ionian boots and Yoomus Ghostblade will lower your cd dramatically. You can substitue the boots for speed or attack speed boots, depending on your play style. Get a vampiric scepter at some point, as it will help you survive. Depending on how the game is progressing, you can either get a frozen mallet or a bloodthirster at this point. Frozen Mallet pairs very well with Talons passive Mercy, which increases Talon's damage when his enemies are under cc effect, or in this case, slow. Bloodthirster and Infinity Edge are late game items for every AD champion.

With all the cd reduction, minions should be easy gold. If its just the usual one group of minions. Rake them and auto attack, rake them again if necessary. At some points, when the whole team hasn't been laning much, you will see gigantic piles of minions. Stand in the middle and ult them. This will kill all of them if you hav the right positioning. You might wonder why you would waste your ult on minions. With all the cd reduction, your ult cd should be about 25 seconds. Considering how short that duration is, might as well pop the ult and get some gold.

With this build, although early game kills will be hard, you will have a steady income of minion gold. Late game you become a great ganker, and still a great farmer.
