Hello, I want to introduce my first guide ever featuring, Talon. I've been playing league of legends for about an year, and dota games in general for about 5years. Most of my champions are assassins and I think I know my way around them pretty well.

Pros:
You will usually have the most farm in the game.
You will probably dominate your lane if you play correctly.
You will be a nightmare for anyone who's spell dependant.
Cons:
Until level 6 you will be really fragile.
You can get focused by someone who has a suppression or a stun if you're not careful.
If you don't get farm you will be useless.

With this rune setup, you should be aimed to survive early game, till you reach lvl 6-7 and then do tons of damage, i prefer taking armor because, most of solo top champions are AD as i noticed. I take armor penetration because, talon has an ability called ,,Cut throat'' that instantly teleports you to an enemy then the armor penetration runes come in handy. The attack speed quints, are aimed for more later game, since you go more on AD then on Attack speed I choose to go atk. speed. The magic resist is aimed for you to survive their burst, well, atleast not get one shotted, if you survive the initial burst of a mage, you most likely can just jump on him even with 10% hp and instanly kill him.

For masteries I go the usual 21/9/0
I take offense 21 to kill people as fast as possible, and for 9 in defense, they are for surviving early game and regenerating hp if getting harassed.

For items I take boots at start for the movement speed and 3 health potions, these are aimed for having more speed if my jungler decides to gank and, having some health pots to be able to regenerate and our harass my opponent. Afterwards I aim for brutalizer to have some cooldown reduction and more armor pen, when I get brutalizer I usually start to dominate my lane. Further items aimed mostly on damage for skill scaling since talon is abit more dependant on skills.

This skill order is aimed for harassing and farming, we take only 1 point in E at level 4 only for the gap closing ability, and we try to constantly harass with our W (and getting creeps at the same time).
Assassination combo:
Rake we launch this spell first for the slow.
cutthroat we use it to silence the enemy and close the existing gap.
Then we use an auto-atk. And follow it up with Noxian Diplomacy for the maximum damage output possible.
and the last spell for the finishing blow Shadow Assault and if thats not enough, we implement some more auto-atks.

If that doesn't work, he's most likely a tank, or you're massively underfarmed and underleveled.

We need to stay in range of the experience and, get every creep if possible.
If you end up against champions like akali Akali , we want to harass her as much as possible with our W Rake , squishy champions usually don't stand a chance versus talon even from the start of the game. If you push your lane you'll probably get ganked, and if you're not level 6 you're dead, so if possible and if you're winning the lane, try to not use W Rake on minions.
If we have a more tough early game champion like, renekton Renekton , we wont be able to do much asides from farming. Champions with a lot of health regeneration spells, will most likely dominate you early, because you wont be able to harass them. So my suggestion is, try to farm up as much as possible, and DO NOT ENGAGE THEM DIRECTLY, you are weak early, you need to kill people at higher level.

Since cho'gath has so much sustain he'll probably out harass you, your best option is to try and farm up as much as possible with W Rake, and ask your jungler to gank alot.


Ohhh, renekton, how I hate his insanse harassing capabilities and farming abilities, if you get 3 or 4 succesful ganks on him, you still wont be able to dominate him in lane and will be forced to play passively.


You are pretty much even in fire power, so don't do anything stupid and don't think that you're the superior one. Try to lay back and as your jungler for ganks.

I find Talon extremely fun to play with, i think he is a ,,true'' assassin type champion.
It's really fun to walk around the map, see someone alone, and kill him instantly.
