Tank Annie

This build is for anyone who wants to build an out of the ordinary tank Annie.

Items

First grab Doran's Ring for life, ap, and Mana Regen
Grab Boots of speed
Then get Catalyst Protector
Change your boots of speed into Socerer's Shoes
Get Rod of Ages
Then go straight for Rylia's Scepter (I believe its slow does work with Molten Shild.)

This is when you can start varying your build:

If there is a lot of DPS enemies, switch Sunfire for Thornmail. (Say 2 or more)
If it is more squishy enemy team grab Sunfire Cape
Grab Abyssal Scepter
Then get Rabbadon's Death Cap or a Banshee's Viel (If mages are giving you a hard time.)

Skill Sequence

Grab Disentegrate First
Then get Molten Shield
Then Incenerate

Now max out your molten shield as fast as you can while getting your ult at 6,11,16.
If you can't level Molten shield, work on Disentegrate.
Then Finish off with Incenerate

Pros / Cons

This build is effective for just about any team you go against. If you are having trouble with mages, grab banshees veil and Sunfire instead of thornmail and rabbadons.

If you are having problems with DPS, then switch sunfire for thornmail, and banshees veil for rabbadons.

Team Work

Try to act as the team's tank, and never enter a team fight unless you have your stun and ult ready.

Summary

All right. So now you wander how the heck does this build work? I wil tell you.

Most people don't expect Annie to go tank, why? Because she is a mage, and a strong one at that. Heal and teleport make it so that you can stay in the lane longer, as it can be slightly difficult in the beginning depending on who you are battling. Follow the item list and skill list.

Now here is how she works.

At level 18 you have near 3300 Hp an 125 Armor and 150 Magic Resist (This is for Sunfire build) Now add her level 5 molten shield bouns and now look at your stats.
3300 Hp
175 Armor
200 Magic Resist

Now at last level Molten Shield deals a base damage of 60 magic damage per normal attack. The ratio is 1/5, so your shield does (60+43)= 103 damage back per hit! And since you have a high amount of life and a ridiculous amount of Armor and Magic Resist for a mage.
Now here is also why this build is great, not only are enemies killing themselves attacking you, you have a level 3 Tibbers that does 80 DPS + your sunfire capes 40 DPS)

So here is your damage output.
Molten Shield = 103 magic damage per normal attack
Tibbers and Sunfire = 120 DPS
Then add your spells and Tibbers Damage.

For a DPS Enemy Team

At level 18 you have near 2800 Hp an 180 Armor and 150 Magic Resist (This is for Thornmail build) Now add her level 5 molten shield bouns and now look at your stats.
2800 Hp
230 Armor
200 Magic Resist

Now at last level Molten Shield deals a base damage of 60 magic damage per normal attack. The ratio is 1/5, so your shield does (60+43)= 103 damage back per hit! (Then add the extra damage from Thornmail.) And since you have a high amount of life and a ridiculous amount of Armor and Magic Resist for a mage.
Now here is also why this build is great, not only are enemies killing themselves attacking you, you have a level 3 Tibbers that does 80 DPS

So here is your damage output.
Molten Shield = 103+(Thornmail) magic damage per normal attack
Tibbers = 80 DPS
Then add your spells and Tibbers Damage.

Extra Notes:

So that is how this build works. And if you are having a lot of trouble with mages replace rabbadons with banshees.

Your abyssal scepters -magic resist aura plus sorcerers shoes, and your mastery
(20+20+15%) This is so that your shield will do more damage to attackers and also help you beat tanks.
