Introduction

My name is Exxie and i would love to suggest this build to fellow Nidalee players.

This build is not a proffesional build. Just a build that i would love to share with the rest cause it is working for me. Nidalee tank is not like galio or anything, but since she is a fast hero she can jump in and out teamfights to inniciate or escape. Her heal allows you to survive the last bits of the teamfight or save an ally (even without AP).

Runes

Runes are kinda free to pick just make sure you got some MR and Armor runes, but you can easily change the Blue for Cooldown reduction if needed (really handy for quicker jumping). Health quins are awesome for early game solo top. You'll need it agains a irelia or something. Till you hit lvl 6 these runes will help you staying alive.

Items

You can either start with a Regrowth pendant and a health potion or with boots and 3 pots. Thats your choice. Make sure you build enough MR and Amor since you aren't really a tanky champ (If we follow the "Suggestions" from others). I kinda love this build cause nidalee, never ever dies with these items. Her damage in cat form is pretty decent, only her heals and spears aren't so great. Traps are still good for (semi) warding. Make sure to support your team a little with wards if it's not going so well.

Summoner Spells

I like ghost and flash cause it will increase your escape ability's even more, If you use them good they will never ever catch a tank nidalee. It gives your a boost with your passive to either gank mid, or tower dive top and quickly get out of tower range.

Teleport instead of ghost is also good for solo top. She can run quickly to bot / mid and teleport back when top is being pushed.

Farming

Farm as much as possible since you won't get any kills with this build. On top you should ignore the opponent till you hit level 6 (Traps in bushes are still needed for ganks etc). If you got around 150 CS you can build your first items and start ganking / harrasing other lanes.

At level 6 farming will be easy mode (As always)

Summary

This is again not a pro build. But i surely love to play nidalee as a tank sometimes. I hope i will see a tanklee against me sometime. Would love to see someone else playing her as i do sometimes.
