Introduction

This is a quick Build for your favorite Tidal Trickster named Fizz.

Runes

I build Fizz pretty tanky but he is NOT a tank.
The Runes are focussed to dish out a moderate amount of damage and be able to survive teamfights.

Greater Mark of Insight : Best Runes for any Caster -> Self explaining.

Greater Seal of Vitality : Those Runes stack very well with the Passive of your first item : Rod of Ages. The Runes in addition with the Rod of Ages will give you an extra of 805 HP at Level 18.

Greater Glyph of Force : 27 AP at Level 18 -> For some late-game damage.

Greater Quintessence of Potency : 15 AP to harass better in the early-game.

Masteries

Like I said before, I play Fizz as a tanky AP mid that is why I go with those Masteries.
21 in Offense and 9 in Defense allow me to do some more extra damage and be a bit more tanky.

Skill Sequence

You want to max out your Seastone Tridant because this skill is your main damage source.
Playful/Trickster is primary a utility spell and not a damage spell that is why I skill this ability at level 4 and leave it there until I have to skill it.
Urchin Strike applies on-hit effects which means your Lich Bane applies when you use the skill that is why you want to use this skill more often which means you max it second to get this cooldown.
Skill your "SHARK" whenever possible for maximum awesomeness ;)

Items

Start the game with a Doran's Ring for a little bit more extra AP,HP and the Mana Regen.
Next buy should be Sorcerer's Shoes OR Boots of Lucidity the choice is up to you.
Get the Rod of Ages as fast as possible so the Passive can stack up.
I dont know why but I love Malady on Fizz. His Seastone Tridant is a great Active/Passive ability, and to reach the full potential of the Passive you WILL need some attack speed. Malady is a great choice.
Lich Bane is up next. Just great with your Q and in general a great item not only because of the Passive that boosts your basic attack damage after an ability use but also because of the 8% movement speed boost.
Deathcap -> Why not ?
Sell Doran's Ring now and get Morello's Evil Tome for some more AP and the Cooldown which is needed.
Round up your build with 1 Elixir of Brilliance (Dmg+Cooldown) and 1 Elixir of Brilliance (HP).

Laning + Skill Usage

Your primary combo will be :
R-W-Q-E

Always activate your W to get it to apply on your Q.
Then do some basic attacks and E out if needed.
You can also dodge a skillshot with your E, activate your W and then :
Q on your enemy and keep damaging him with basic attacks
OR
Basic attack him and then Q out to a nearby enemy minion.
Always use your Ult to catch enemies off guard and set up ganks or just for the damage.

If you use your Ult be sure to use it FIRST so that your W Passive will do more damage.
