Great guide! I like that you have the guts to recommend swapping gold items depending on the phase. It makes sense to me though, by the time you get into mid-phase I'd rather have the increase of 10cdr, 10mp5, proximity gold and the engage/disengage/reposition active at the cost of 375hp, 15hp5 (Talisman has 10), passive I can't get much out of and an active that doesn't do much when used on a target with no armor/MR.

Personally I like to run with AD reds because harass involves 3 hits (AA-Q-AA)

I think you're mistaken.
True CC is CC that is not affected by tenacity.

Stuns are known as Hard CC; i.e CC that renders you immobile when used upon you.

Stuns are hard CC, true CC refers to CC that cannot be reduced by tenacity, and stop dashes, such as knockups and displacements.

Claims to be patch 4.5 while using a clearly inefficient runeset. Flat Health Seals combined with Armour Quintessences are stronger than the combination you're using right now. I'd also accept Hp5 Quints combined with Armour Seals. AD Marks beat Armour Marks by far.

Other than that, going 21 in utility is not for Leona. I'd go 0/14/16, 9/21/0 or 0/21/9.

Just an FYI... STUNS are true CC, and she has 2 of those.

You asked for a review nearly a week ago, sorry for the delay but here it is!

• Leona excels with defensive masteries. I myself run 0/21/9 (check my lolking if you want the exact specs) and the extra defense helps out a lot in botlane. Leona is a tank and running this setup works really well with her kit.
• I personally also run hybrid pen marks, Leona actually deals a ****load of magic damage on her spells which means magic pen amplifies your damage quite well. Armor marks feel unnecessary to me because you're already super tanky.
• I personally always go for Relic Shield and I don't consider Doran's Shield a viable alternative anymore. If I were to go for anything but Relic Shield, it'd be a Ruby Crystal to build into a super early Sightstone (keep in mind that this in fact functions as a gold income item as it saves you money on wards and allows you superior vision which will also reward you gold in the end). Besides that, when starting Relic Shield I go with 4 potions for extra sustain in lane ( Leona can have a painful pre-6)
• Lots of situational items shouldn't be considered. I'd never go for Iceborn Gauntlet or Spirit Visage and I wouldn't recommend Thornmail, Sunfire Aegis and Frozen Heart as well as there are better alteratives ( Randuin's Omen). These items are viable though but highly situational.
• I personally never swap to talisman of ascension because Leona doesn't need the stats the item gives at all, and I doubt if the active is really worth that much compared to what the upgraded targon's brace gives (forgot name).
• "6. This is where blue side can ward if they need to see dragon and there is an enemy Vision Ward at spot 2." - often people pink closer into the pit so you can't ward there. Only reason to ward there is if you quickly want vision on dragon without having to facecheck.
• Gameplay section could be added. How to play Leona pre-6, how to play her in teamfights, etc.

You bring up some good points Archrimonde, I'll try to incorporate some of them into my guide.
