Your runes are unusual for a support. I would recommend flat armour marks, flat armour seals, flat magic resist glyphs and gold quints.
I think you should be maxing your Shatter first as it prevents a large amount of poke from reaching your carry in the first place and it makes it so much easier to give your carry kills with the damage + armour decrease. A heal only gives some lane sustain and taric is heavily based around early game kills.
Your items bring your cdr to 75% for some reason. You should reduce this because the cap is all the way back at 40%. You are wasting around 1000 gold worth of cdr.
I don't think you need to be building so much AP as you will probably benefit more from mana and mana regen.
You are not quite as tanky as taric tends to be.
Tear of the goddess and archangels staff are normally bought very early on as one of the first items for AP mids who rely on mana and mana sustain. They is not bought on supports very late. You definitely should not be buying it on taric as you said yourself: "in the early, you've got ENORMOUS cooldowns" meaning you cannot spam spells enough to get the full potential out of it.
No sightstone?
Runic bulwark is a very strong item on taric and I try to take it as early as possible after boots and sightstone. It provides him with yet another AoE buff as well as boosting his tankyness.
I don't think athene's unholy grail is as important as you make it out to be. It uses a LOT of gold to get (which you have little of as a support) and doesn't provide you with some huge overwhelming benefit.
Attack speed is not needed on taric as a good taric will try and avoid using his passive because it will push a lane. Nashor's tooth is usually reserved for AP teemo.
To start on the writing you have very little detail in most categories. Try to give more detail on gameplay.
In the item section usually the highest level of reasoning behind it just its stats. Try to give more specific reasons why you should get it for taric/on this build and give tips on when and how to use items like twin shadows.
The summoner spells section is tiny. Give alternatives like clairvoyance, clarity or heal.
You should not be farming at all, definitely not with your ult. That is just stupid.
Taric has a strong early game, that is why you want to match him with ad champs who also have a srong early game like draven.
You are missing some important sections like lane partners.
In general, just write more.
I hope with this advice and a BBCode you can make this a good build/guide.
1. It's not a troll build. Just done it and ended 0/4/20 in Season 3, so I'm gonna update it but I've got a problem so I'll do it some more time later.
2. If you want I can change the title in "Taric's fabulousness pwns people.", it's the same for me, maybe it's better (it is probably). The Force of Nature existed in the Season 2 so the build isn't dumb, but the build is OUTDATED.
3. I'm not building armor because Shatter already gives you the amount of armor necessary, so I focus on building some Magic Res. The AP is for the ultra heals you can give to your team mates whenever it's necessary, and it works pretty good with the Nashor Tooth (Q's passive: if you hit an enemy with a basic attack the cooldown on the skill is reduced), so the attack speed gives you some more sustain to help the others. I use Taric not as a tanky tank, but as a healing tank. I use my heals to keep me alive and the stun helps. The only problem is that if you're alone, or you fight or you die, because running just causes you to die faster, since you're slow, you've got long cooldowns and if there's nobody around you're finished. I think I finished with the in-game explanations.
I never thought this would be the optimal build, but if you like playing Taric aggressive and with ultra heals and a lot of stunning power to keep the enemies like "shieeeeeeeeeeet!" when they see you in team, this is the build that works out. I think with this build Taric can tank, heal, deal damage and support at the same time! That's why I posted it on mobafire. And now I hope all is clear.
Bye.
