1) materies
a) why would you prefere Veteran's Scars over Runic Armor ? (btw if you buy a forrbiden item it works over it, for example, it will go with redemption heal*redeption bounus*runic armor bonus.
b)why would you prefere Sorcery over Fury , fury with bravado will have double effect?
2) what do you think about Frozen Mallet insted of Sterak's Gage or Randuin's Omen?
3) i think you should edit the baravado expelenation for a solo lane, it will fit the guild.
have a fabulus day :D
1a-- I prefer Veteran's Scars only because of my runes choice. Since all of my runes are defensive, and almost all of them are armor runes, I prefer having extra health over shields. It's only because I want to make sure I don't die that easily before getting any good items. Well, if I were building for late game specifically, I would probably take Runic Armor .
1b-- With Fury , it doesn't really have a noticeable effect.... For me, I like Sorcery because once I turn on my lane opponent, I get that extra damage, and the Courage of the Colossus proc, and that scares them away. Great questions so far!
2-- Frozen Mallet would be decent instead of Sterak's Gage if you wanted to be more aggressive. And, I think it would be better that you slow and chase after one opponent with the Frozen Mallet. But with Sterak's, it's more tanky. You get a decaying shield with 30% of your health with lifeline. Great with tankiness. Up to your playstyle!
3-- Yeah, I was lazy. I will definitely do that.
I appreciate everything! I love your questions, you can follow my recommendations or you can go on your own tangent based on it. It's all up to the people who read my guide. And, you, good sir, enjoy being fabulous everywhere you go!
just one last idia, as Veteran's Scars is only 50 hp for all the i would prefere to make that 50 health in runes isnted of 5-6 armor, because the runic armor, make your Q and W more effective all the game, so early it will be more sustain and late it will just be awsome :D
Against an AP champion, I wouldn't go Doran's Shield all the time, only against certain champions like Kennen and Teemo. The item's main effectiveness is against single target damage, something you often won't see with top lane mages. The starting items I would choose between are Doran's Ring and Corrupting Potion.
The mana regen from Doran's Ring lets you cast your heal more which gives you better sustain in lane, and combined with the item's +60 HP, you have a good chance of surviving through even difficult lanes. It also gives +15 AP, which is nice because it adds some damage onto your stun.
The other good start, Corrupting Potion, keeps you topped off in lane and gives you the opportunity to farm with relative safety. If you can make use of it well enough, you can optimally save up enough gold to back and get a Spectre's Cowl. Having that and your potions, as well as your very own heal, will make laning a breeze.
Lastly, in your build against AD, you should change the Greater Glyph of Magic Resist runes into
Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist runes since you don't need the early MR.
It's always nice to see a fellow gem lover. Good luck with your guide, and stay fabulous!
I'm not the only one...
I'm not the only one....
For your starting recommendation, I do agree. Taking Doran's Shield for all lane opponents is a stubborn idea. The funny thing is, my inspiration for this guide was a game I played the day I made the guide. It was against a Teemo!! I'm glad you pointed this out! And, I would take Corrupting Potion only because of the fact you don't need to buy potions every back. Ring is ok, but I don't particularly like to take it. I can see how it would be good. I might have to try that later on today....You're giving me good vibrations, we could be great friends xD
The only problem I have with Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resists is that it makes me particularly weak early game. This is why I MIGHT take two Spirit Visages late game in a perfect world. IN A PERFECT WORLD! Mind you I wouldn't do that every game. Especially when I'm behind.
I love to see that you've thought this through as well as I have! I thought I was the only one...I can't wait to tell my friends that being a Taric main isn't the worst thing in the world! Thank you thank you! And, to you too, stay fabulous!
