Intro

Teemo has always been knows as a squishy dps last hitter. I figured out a build that removes the squishy from his description, but he still serves out damage like crazy. Lots of magic damage items along with regular AD give him 2 kinds of damage and lots of health.

Preparation

Let's start with runes. Teemo has a reputation for being squishy. I basically deem that untrue in this guide. Glyphs of magic resistance and seals of armor give you a good sustain. Armor pen gives you more damage off the bat. Masteries keep this philosophy.

Buying items

Doran's Blade is an ideal starter, due to the +100 hp and +10 damage it offers, helping you do damage and stay alive. I get Berserker's Greaves because attack speed is vital to your operation. After, I would shoot for either Frozen Mallet or Ionic Spark, to start building health and damage. Wit's End can be bought first, if you are laning against someone who has potent magic. Madred's Bloodrazor is best picked up now, because anyone who was planning to build lots of health will have it by now, and it's time you are able to finish them. Now that you are able to hit fast and hard, speed it up further with a Black Cleaver, and nobody will survive being in your range.

Gameplay

NOTE: THIS IS NOT A GUIDE ON WHERE TO PLACE MUSHROOMS. THERE ARE OTHER GUIDES WITH IN-DEPTH DETAIL ON HOW TO DO SO.

Your objective early will be to farm and not die. If you are playing mid, you can go for a first blood by turning invisible, waiting for the opponent to push a bit, then bust out with Blinding Shot, Ignite, and your autoattack. If that doesn't finish them off, they will at the very least cling to their turret and you can farm freely.

Once midgame rolls around, make sure you have the bushes near mid all warded with your shrooms. Watch for teamfights, and push where most appropriate. Lategame, you should have a giant neon sign that says "DANGER" floating over your head. Your health and MR should be able to keep you alive, but make sure you keep your distance from any melee bruisers. Blinding Shot will always keep them down for a few seconds.

Summary

You should be able to do lots of magic and physical damage at this point, and the massive health you build will help keep you up. Ghost and Move Quick together can save your life. Remember to use your Blinding Shot If anyone tries to mess with you.
