Introduction

Hi there!

It has been a while since I've been on Mobafire and I realised I left you with a really out-dated build! So I changed a lot about it! I hope this build will help you more than the last build I posted! Enjoy reading!

Masteries

The masteries are to support your build. As this Teemo is going for attack damage, I think the best way to go is for 21/0/9. The critical strike chance is really important, because of the Infinity Edge you are going to buy later on. Putting 21 points in your offence tree gives Teemo that little push he needs to do a lot of damage.

Runes

Infinity Edge is nothing without the critical chance runes. With these runes, Teemo starts with 8,1% crit chance, 15 armor pen and 6.9% attack speed. This doesn't seem like much, but it makes a lot of difference. The attack speed is also to increase the amount of critical strikes. Armor penetration is what makes Teemo a killer.

Summoner Spells

Teleport and Ghost or Flash
Explanation:

Teemo needs to be able to escape or chase. That is why you can either choose for Flash or ghost. They both work. My choice is usually ghost, because together with move quick, they will not be able to catch up with you. It is like having double ghost. Flash is also a good choice if you know how to use that.

I pick teleport, because Teemo is a great lane pusher. Teleport can be used to support that in two ways.
1) if the enemy team is pushing a lane and your minions are pushing on another lane, you can easily teleport there to help nuke that turret. You can also do this to inhibitors, if the turret in front of it is already down. You will need to have a ward or a shroom around to teleport to.
2) When you are pushing a lane too far and you see the enemies coming for you, you can use your teleport spell to get out fast. It takes 3,5 seconds, but is not interrupted when you are attacked. Also when you see them coming (and you should if you place your shrooms right), you can be gone within 3,5 seconds.

Trust me, your team will love you for it.

Item Build

I always love to start with a Vampiric Scepter. It gives you 12% lifesteal which is perfect for little Teemo and his attack speed. It allows you to stay in a lane longer than you would be able to with, for example Doran's Blade. I see a lot of Teemo's choose Doran's Blade over vampiric scepter, but really 400 hp or 500 hp doesn't make that much difference if the enemy is out to get you. 3% lifesteal is nothing. Beginning with Doran's blade means you have to go back when you are below 300hp, with vampiric scepter, you just have to wait for the minions to come to the turret, so you can regen your life. There are a few exceptions to that, when the enemy can turret dive you will have to go back when you are low on life. But when laning with a strong lane partner or in mid against a squishy enemy, you are fairly save. Always watch your back for junglers! (Tip, go in stealth for extra attack speed and because enemies can't target you!)

If you are playing it right you don't have to go back for a long time. So when you do go back, you will have a lot of money to spend! I always try to go back when I have 2000 or more gold. It seems like a lot, but it is possible! If you are forced to go back early, don't fret, you have teleport! You won't miss out on a lot of experience. With my 2000 gold, I buy B.F. Sword and Boots of Speed. If you are being seriously harassed, buy a couple of health potions too.

I would say only go back when you need to. There are two reasons you would need to go back for; either you are low in health, or you are lacking in damage. When you go back for the third time, try to buy 2x B.F. Swords. It sounds ridiculous, but the amount of attack damage you get by having three B.F. Swords is amazing. You are now dealing a fair amount of damage. Congratz!

To finish the core build, go back and buy; Ionian Boots Infinity Edge The Black Cleaver and The Bloodthirster by upgrading you're starting items.

When you are being focussed in team fights or the enemies have a lot of stunners/slowers ( etc.) in their team, you might want to get a Banshee's Veil first. This will block one enemy spell every 45 seconds. It will allow you to escape or save one of your team mates by catching a spell that is meant for him/her (think Caitlyns ulti).

After finishing your core build and the game is still not over, you can consider a couple of items. When you get sick of enemies getting away, because there are just no slowers in your team, definitely buy a Frozen Mallet. It is an awesome item for Teemo. Not only will it allow you to get more hits on your target, it will also increase Teemo's health. You can also choose to build a Banshee's Veil, as I explained before, to give you a little more survivability. The last item I use is Phantom Dancer. When you are going for the core item build i described, this is the perfect item to complete. I use this item in 80% of my games, because it is just so perfect. It gives you even more movement speed (yes, you will race around the map), attack speed and it increases your critical chance, which is a perfect combination with your Infinity Edge.

Game Play

The game play doesn't really differ from what other people will tell you in their builds. I would strongly advice to always keep your own playing style, because you can't change who you are. Do remember to always have enough shrooms and to never try to farm with shrooms. Shrooms (or eggs or satalites) are for map control and harassing only! Never for farming, because that is just a waste of a perfectly good shroom. Key points to place shrooms are in every bush. That is a big job and it will keep you busy! Whenever you are thinking about doing some farming (or going for the dragon or baron) always put some scouting shrooms down. If the enemy has a ward and they try to gank you, you will see them coming and you can run like hell! Never go for a teamfight when you are alone, even when it is 1v1, because there might be others following that one enemy!

Chapter 7

I hope I explained everything in a way everybody understands. I tend to be a little over-enthusiastic. I want to tell you all so much stuff that I mix things up, which leads to confusing language.

Please leave me comments, because I am very interested in your opinions! Tell me when you see things different and explain why. I am open for everything.

Thank you very much for reading this build and I hope to see you soon in a game of League of Legends!
