The GODLIKE S14 Solo Carry Kennen BROKEN 1v9 Build

By Newbie1Kenobi
Introduction
Why listen to me? A hardstuck gold? The reason im gold is because I used to only play like 40 games of rank a year.. I get bored easily playing the same champ over and over so I used to play different champs every games. But Kennen was the first champ I learned and the one I mastered first. My ONE TRUE MAIN some might say. But the real reason is because my playstyle + build + runes makes it that I never loose any matchup and I always dominate my lobbies.
Here are my stats compared to MASTER Tier players (not enough data in grand/chall to compare).

And here are some damage charts for you. ( These are not hand picked. It looks like this every single game )

Feel free to come say hi and give some love.(links in my bio)<3 Now let's get to business shall we? :)
Playstyle early game
It is a low risk/high reward. You won't ever be weak but your goal is to basicly destroy the whole ennemy health bar no matter how much your team feeds. It is made to 1v9. I had no choice to learn how because as you can see in the damage charts, when do I ever get a team? Never. All muppets while the ennemy team are like avengers or something am I right?

To make a long story short you will have to nuke YOUR early game. And by this I mean that you want to avoid fighting at all cost before your first back. Because your weak? No. Because fighting your opponent means you will stay less longer in lane. Not only they might have better runes to trade with you but even if you do win your 1v1 and get a kill you will be force to back with your 10% hp left and you might only have 1100 gold. That is what you DO NOT want. Go hide your nutz in a tree somewhere.

Instead you want to afk farm. Do not take ANY risk. This is the most important part of this guide. If you can manage to farm your way to 1250g, you are half way there. Once you have your gold you can either try to kill your opponent if he hasn't back aswell and you feel confident to kill him with a flash R or you can just press b and TP back to lane. Now let the fun begin!

End of your early game.
Mid Game
Now you have the best first AP item in the game. You probably 1 shot the casters. But you still need 1250g at least before your next back. The difference between early and mid game is that now you are online. You can trade/shove and help your jungler. But no matter what always make sure to not miss your waves. If you dont have flash be carefull. If you do try to shove and force objectives. Whenever you have flash up you are basicly a HUGE treath. But still make sure you at least get double kill + an objective with it.

Keep in mind you need at least 1250g before risking anything. Once you have your 1250g if you get a double or triple kill then try to greed what is missing for rabadon.. Do not back if you have 2000g. Try to greed what is missing. It is worth the risk cuz remember.. When you do get your rabadon.. it is like having 15 dorans blades!!!

Mid game ends when you reach Rabadon.
Late Game
Late game?? Allready?? Yup. You are now a monster. From now on you can take risks because every items left have cheaps components.
The rest of the game your mission is simple. Put pressure when you'r ult is on cooldown like shoving side lanes. Shove the lanes and group when your ult is up and there is no minions to farm. Hide in the bushes to trap junglers. If your ult is up you should be fine. Prep objectives. When you have flash up force everything! At this point you are waiting for 1 thing. 3 grouped ennemy with the highest treath among them. It will ALWAYS be worth.

If you played it right at this point you should only be dead max 4 times ( for the drags ) and maybe add 1 or 2 random deaths. The tp will allow you to gather much more gold and xp. At this point you should feel excited. Wait for your flash and prep your team because there is a NUKE comming up. Decide what you want to do. Baron or end the game? If your team sucks just tell them to group mid because you are about to end it. This way if you only kill 3 of them(including the highest treath) your team should be able to clean up no matter what. If somehow you get lucky unlike me and do manage to find yourself a team, its better to call for baron because they might not listen to you and stick to their own plans because they are also fed. Baron is easier for them to agree on most of the time.

Then hit the chat with an "ez pz" ;)
Runes explanation
Electrocute: Because you want burst. It will help you proc Stormsurge.
Taste of blood: It will help you survive the early game.
Eyeball collection: Easy to stack with your ult.
Relentless hunter: I choose this whenever I don't go tp. It helps having map presence. But all of these are viable. It is up to you based on what you like the most.
Cosmic insight: Kennen is the strongest with flash up allowing easy acces to the backline therefor reducing its cooldown is HUGE. TP and Flash have the longest cooldown in the game. So this rune MASSIVELY upgrade your impact on the game. Consider it your strongest rune.
Future's market: This will help you get to rabadon.
Tips & Tricks
1) After mid game NEVER, EVER, EVER flash on 1 ennemy. I don't care if it is the 20/0 draven. ALWAYS keep your flash for at the BARE MINIMUM 2 opponents. You can easily rate your ult on 5 stars.( 1 star for each opponent you hit with e+r+w )

2) Focus on GOLD GOLD GOLD. If you want to 1v9 it is a mentallity you will need.

3) Practice farming with doran's ring. I know the begining is very hard. But when you will 1 shot the meles you will feel otherwise.

4) Before the first back I use my Q to help me farm as mush as possible. If it is up, I dont take the risk to miss it with an auto. You have no mana issues so you can use that to help yourself. Dont be scared to use your others ability's as well. I often use w on 1 minion to help my farming early.. especially under tower.

5) Never push the wave early(dont risk your first back dying to a gank). In any case with a Doran's ring even if you would want to push you could not most of the times.
Conclusion
If you are still reading then you have the best recipies to carry 90% of your games. I gave it all to you holding nothing back. I have spended hours on this guide so that all my fellow kennen players can rule the rift. Is it to much asking for a thumbs up? :)
