Now I look at it again, I think it would be nice to explain your masteries and add some more info about gameplay. And some more item explanation, like your starting items. I've never started that way with Shen.

The guide looks a lot better than the average new guides here on mobafire, it looks clean and simple. I don't get why this is an ad build, however. With , and the fact that all of your abilities deal magic damage, I think that overall you would get more out of magic penetration marks and masteries, especially because is your main harass tool in the laning phase.
