Among all mid laners, zed AoE dmg is very weak, compare to mages he need to focus 1 target at a time in teamfight as an assassin. But yes his q is aoe skillshot and E does aoe dmg.

Is Zed worth maining/practicing?

Depend on what u mean by worth. If u want to climb in ranked with zed, i would say hes not worth before around 50-100 games but if you just want to have fun and love playing zed like me sure he worth

I think zed is a really cool champ and he is really funny to play, thank you for the guide. it is really precise and your tips are great. A few days ago i have played against a draven on midlane, and i thought i could easy kill him. But he had barrier and his auto attacks were insane. so i just could play save and wait for ganks. do you have any ideas how to defeat such enemies easily. The barrier saved him all the time from my ult.

Im not suprise he went knowing he was laning agaisnt an assassin
is a very agrresif ADCs and early game, u better keep ur distance from him as
In Laning phase, Backup after using W combo. Hes most likely going to rush you and try keep u in his AA range to extend the fight. gonna win these long trades against because he has more substain in lane.
So try to not fight too long with draven quickly backup after ur combos to avoid his reengage

I am 100% agree with u is really cool/fun champion to play, also do hurt as **** and he's very strong in the current meta.
U did good to play safe and wait for ganks. Another thing u could have done is to switch lane with top or simply looking for roams.
Maybe, starting item can be helpfull against poke/harrass.
Later get and

The Best scenario would be to cauch him off guard alone, use your ult and burst him to death. If he have Flash, wait for him to use it and instantly follow him up with ur W to finish the job.

Last thing i can tell u is that even how feed can get early game. He still gonna remain a aquishy/vulberable adc without teamates and later in the game, he better respect the

Heya there. Just wanted to say something pretty basic: Xerath can easily counter Zed. He can easily counter engages with his e and if you get out of your ult it's easy to land for him. His Q has a massive hitbox, which makes it very hard to dodge at early levels. His W is pretty easy to dodge tho but that's besides the point. SO I'm basically saying that xerath is very ahrd to outplay as Zed if you try to do something early on, especially if he take barrier as a summoner. Best of Luck in your games though.

Of course, Post lvl 3 have to deal with harrass/pokes from. But once u hit ur lvl 6 powerspike, ur way stronger than him.
If miss/waste his E(stun) and u all in him, hes dead without a or
It's kind of the same scenario against or matchup they outrange u but after lvl 6 they better keep their distance from

Nice job trying to make a Zed guide. I don't really have the right to say this but you got some mistakes. I beleive you should take E at lvl 2 because your W has a high cooldown and it isn't convenient to be harassed a whole bunch if your enemy is like an orianna when you W is on cooldown. And I beleive you should never push your lane at all. Zed isn't good at early game and isn't good at ganks.

Right now,there's slight more ppl going w lvl 2. Both are viable option and Sometimes I lvlup e instead of w. It depend on
1.The lane matchup like against or
2.If I know where their jg is. If not, W is safer and yes it have high CD so gotta use it smartly.
Also, I agree with u zed should'nt push his lane early so lvl up E can help for last hiting CS undertower.

can i have a question? why you didnt take cdr runes on ap matchup? but on ad matchup have cdr ? runes. Thank you for reply.

Because, Most mid laners are AP, while is a melee champion so ur gonna be harrass/poke and for a better early game are the best MR rune
But, if ur laning against or Flat Mr Glyph is kind of useless. So u should trade them for , or even can be a good option.
