Made a more indepth response about that rune, hope that helps answer your question cause i don't think i did a great job answering it before, i was just like nah basically (sorry for not going more indepth)

I've been trying Ingenious Hunter and in some matchups it feels ok, if it isn't a hard lane and my opponent just lets me cs/farm for like 10-15 minutes..However in a hard lane Ingenious Hunter seems really awful, since it's tied to getting kills, it is really a floater / gambit of a rune and since (even though Cho'gath has a good amount of dmg for a tank) Cho'gath can really get **** on in lane early, I really don't think that rune is good for Cho. Like if i were playing Quinn With Edge of Night and Youmuus or a snowball type of top laner i think it would be a better more stable option..Late game with 10 stacks it feels fine but (the big but) is getting to a late game where you actually have the items..Future's Market (or even things from the Resolve tree) are just better for getting the items since one lets you purchase slightly earlier and the other gives a little more survivability / sustain in lane..each do similar things for Cho in a different way.. fair enough, It is a different playstyle entirely from what people have been use to playing. so give it a few games with the actives to get use to and please share results after like idk 20 games?
