not a bad build but after the bloodrazor your weapon picks kinda sucked. u should throw in a malady (the new one) along with a frozen mallet earlier on so you get more tanky with a slow (brutal). other than that its not bad. i prefer chalice of harmony for my mana regen.

A note for those downvoting, feel free to leave comments as to what you do not agree with in this build. People telling me this is an awesome build and +1ing do not tell me what i can improve on, I cannot make this build better if you downvote and then move on.

this build is great earlygame is not that impressive but lategame you realy start ripping the enemy team apart and finishing fleeing enemys with living artilerie.

Something you may want to do if you are having trouble early game is picking up the blasting wand component of Guinsoo's Rageblade at the same time you are getting Fiendish Codex / Boots. It will give you that extra boost of ability power to carry you through his early game. It will slow down you progression to getting madreds / nashors but if you find yourself with not enough killing power as you would like early game, then this might be a good idea for you.

With the current changes it finally gave me a reason to buy this champ. I've wanted to for a while, but was sorta up in the air. Anyhow, I like the way this build lays him out. I prefer early game mobility so I start with boots then go back for the codex.

Anyhow... good looking build. +1

ok +1 because the first game i went with this build i went 7-3-12 very very nice. my fears were well founded for the beginning though because thats where those three deaths came from.

Yeah, I incorporated some AP into the beginning to compensate for that limitation, Fiendish codex is enough to get by until your madreds and guinsoo start to take over. Have played a few games using this build and have had good results (Minus the leavers which caused us to lose)

AP does have its limitations in the later game, but it takes quite awhile for an AD kog to get started and if the team is smart they will focus you down fairly quickly because you can rip a tank apart, although AD/AS is very good later game it can be shut down very easily in the early game still im looking forward to trying this once my LoL starts working.

True, AP is still viable for Kog, however that aspect of him was not buffed as much, so I decided to test out this build with the new abilities, and it worked out quite well. Have not had time to test out others as of yet, but if I find that adding more AP and sacrificing attack speed work better, than I will have to include that. I will say though, that AS / Hybrid builds seemed to work better late game than AP, pre-buff and I dont see why that would change in this patch. If anything, the hybrid would become more viable than AP. (They do take a bit longer to get started however)
