The 24% CDR is more than enough seeing as Dazzle and Shatter are quick to make the other team run. The thing is, if I take too much CDR from items or runes, there is less nuking going on. I could do more for CDR, but trust me that 24% is great.

Just curious, I am not a LoL master but you mention this build is all about cooldowns, but I only see 24% reduction from masteries and deathfire. Is there some other mechanic from Taric that offers additonal CDR? Otherwise I like this build and am thinking of moving on from perma-banned Soraka to Taric

Dont knock this till you try it. I play support differently. Im not one of those lame support players that just sit back and heal and such. I get into the fight, and I deal the dmg that gets the kills. I dont worry about my K/D/A ratio. As long as they die thats all that matters. You must play that AP/Heal Taric. Or dont play Taric at all. Dont say anything about my build till you've played the build.

Just because Taric falls into the tank catagory, doesnt mean that is the role I have to play him as

I guess support char means supporting your team and not making selfish use of your abilities to get a nice KDR... Not gonna downrate this, but it doesn't yet deserve +1 rating. The same as playing kassadin i.e. as a tank to get all focus fire on you. Nice ideas, but it aint gonna work right.
